Nobody is jealous, that's all in your head. You probably grew up with siblings that had a jealousy scenario going on every time you interacted. Now that's all you can see, your jealousy schema is set and you're projecting it on others. What people are seeing is a 99% drug taker who won't be getting a bus ticket, he'll be indulging in his addiction. We're not jealous, we just see things as they are

He didn't want the shower but he came inside for the meal and money. I'm a non smoker, so he keeps standing in my open doorway in winter smoking W. I think okay, it's tough on the streets. So I go and spend £170 clothes for him in town, I buy him a tent and sleeping bag, a fishing lamp and a radio, I give him £150 for a train ticket to London (it's warmer down there) and another £150 to keep as an emergency. I offered to make phonecalls for a place in a homeless hotel. He doesn't want that. As soon as I gave him the money he was off his head in the street on drugs and W. Then he left his tent and most of the warm clothes and disappeared. He wanted the money to buy drugs. He slurred just like the guy in this video. I know a drug taker when I see one. So perhaps don't assume things about me, thankyou.
Show him jesus christ of nazareth so he can be in the kingdom of heaven instead of some random nobody with some dumb platitude about living well. The sad truth is many people are on the street not as a result of their own actions but because of mental illness - telling them to just do the right things doesn't help them. They need a divine spiritual cure that resolves the fundamental problems of our world. Death, disease, hunger, despair, meaninglessness. As do you, and I suffering silently to the same things but believing we are better off because we hold it together financially.
