It's such a tough industry these days. These guys have no quit in them. And they still sound awesome as hell! Hard to believe this is that little ol' band "Big Blue Monkey" from The Lou. I miss the opportunities I had to hang with them but so happy for them moving on. Keep it up boys!
I listen to a wide variety of music but I think story of the year is possibly one of my all time favorite bands ever! I've grown up with them. Always a great sound and meaningful lyrics in my opinion hope y'all keep going with the eargasmic music
For those moments in life that need a soundtrack the rare times a song speaks directly to what your going thru this cannot be any truer than now. You guys help in ways you will never know for those of us who need that clarity in a time everything seems to be falling apart. My daughter was just born and not knowing how to deal with the fact she is is almost two months premature those times in NICU crying and praying she pulls thru this is the time i can turn to music to speak the words i cannot form within. Thank you doesn't even come close enough for the gift you have given me.
I love this band. I first heard about them back in the early 2000's. They were label-mates with Deftones on Madonna's Maverick Records. This was a great return. I know they all have lives outside of music nowadays, so releases are pretty much sporadic. So much greatness though. \m/
