Hello, can you help me with my business studies case study? I don’t really know how to do it (the topic is costs, scale of production and break even analysis)
Hi! The drop down box to select the year is made through data validation - list. It's in the Data tab of Excel. The chart on the left refers to =SERIES(;'YT views reporting'!$K$21:$K$32;'YT views reporting'!$L$21:$L$32;1) and the chart on the right =SERIES(;'YT views reporting'!$M$21:$M$24;'YT views reporting'!$N$21:$N$24;1) The data that is shown in those cells changes if a different reporting year is selected. The OFFSET function takes care of that.
Thanks for the tip, Dennis! I just watched a few videos of the Eastory channel, and really enjoyed them. The closest I ever got to making a video on history myself was the one called "history of accounting": ua-cam.com/video/HAL0sBd9oyg/v-deo.html

@@TheFinanceStoryteller alright then
Please how did you create this, was it through validation?

@@TheFinanceStoryteller ohh thanks but can you please do a separate video showing how you came up with it from the scratch.
Here's the link to my video specifically on the topic of drop down boxes: ua-cam.com/video/3NrzV693-IM/v-deo.html
Alright then, thank you
You sound a lot like the Eastory history channel.
Hi Dennis! Is that a good or a bad thing? 🤓
@@TheFinanceStoryteller Good thing! I just thought you might've had different channels for different topics, but probably not 😅
