My two cents: I'm on the cusp of finishing my book (eta, Halloween), and don't have much energy at the moment to give this a total breakdown. But this has a very comfy sound in my ears. Warm, buzzy and Cliff's bass, just purring like a floofy cat. Not quite as mammoth as the first version, I don't think, but it's just so easy to listen to. Love it! (Also, I credited you in my work and talk about our interview a small bit. Hope all is good!)
Eeeeeye! It's Two Cents Lady! How's school treating you? As always seeing your breakdown is just as fun as listening to the music even though you arne't doing a brekadown. It jsut feels wrong not seeing you here.
In the words of the great Jason Newsted: "So, just kind of hang out with us, will you? The fucking heaviest number known to mankind Big fat mother fucker called "The Thing That Should Not Be"" Powerful mix 🤘
He said that st the Seattle show and he wasn’t kidding when he said that that’s how I knew about master of puppets because mtv didn’t hardly cover them or the radio station didn’t play Metallica until enter sand man was born that’s how I caught the video of one after the black album blew up the whole world
Well done. Your mix really thickened the track up, and the bass sounds killer. This is close to what the Live seatlle '89 sounds like. Also, give it up to Kirk for one of the wildest solos he's ever done!
@@simplgaming8495 I wish Kirk would take the time to write cool solos like this these days. He just improvises off the cuff, anymore. The stuff he wrote in the 80's and on the black album was legendary
You're the best! Please do To Live is to Die and The Frayed Ends of Sanity pleeeease, I've been waiting for them ever since I listened to your version of Blackened years ago 😭
I 've read that a lot of Metallica fans didn't like this song.... For me it was my favorite to play on the drums with my friends back in a day. Pretty cool remix BTW!
I always loved the song, not sure why others dont really like it. This is a great mix, Andy knocked it out of the park again :D Though I do have to say that my favorite version of the song is still Live Shit Binge & Purge, Seattle 89.
Brilliant work yet again! I am going to build myself playlists of the first four albums with your tracks. I know they aren’t complete yet, but they are getting there! This is my go-to way to listen to Metallica now.
God, the solo is much more punchy now and the end of the song isn't abrupt as in the v1 Remaster of this song. Please sir, do keep up your great work, as some people here said, we can't hear Metallica tracks that you remastered as they were originally mixed anymore
Jesus, those rhythm guitars are menacing. I really like the lower pitch of the snare, too. The video is really cool, too. You always put so much thought into details like those.
God that bass is mixed so well. Guitars also have a weighty crispness to them that give themselves heft as well. And once again the way everything is spaced out in the mix gives this band the air it needs to breathe and fill the room with, especially the drums
It's always nice to see you're still roaming out there, lurking in the shadows remixing and remastering stuff , and when you manifest yourself everyone lose their shit... Now where do I have seen something like this.. Wait, you're The Thing That Should Not Be !
🤙 sounds good, thanks! Ahdy, have you heard the Hushed and Grim album by Mastadon? More Than I Can Chew and Gigantium are both excellent, possibly some of the best guitar solos Ive heard in the past decade. Id love to hear a rework of those from ya :)
TBH the original, drier mix sounds heavier to me. Sometimes less is more. But it's still interesting to hear it like this and nice to hear more of the bass.
Ahdy, this is a fantastic mix and I like it way more than the original. Hear me out, are you able to make a version 3 with the same mix and sound of the instruments you did on this version but extract and overlay this song with James' AJFA vocals? Thats the only thing that could make this even heavier in my humble opinion.
Another great remix/master. Love to hear your take on early Testament albums. Practice What You Preach and The Legacy, Souls of Black sound like they were recorded in a tin can.
Jesus, that bass is THUNDERING
And so as urs,⚡
It's incredible how it doesn't interfere with the guitars with how much low end the guitar still has
For real. I can feel the bass drum vibrating in my headphones
Sounds awesome with cell phone speakers..... Can't wait to crank em up on a killer system.
Surround sound with 4 kliptch towers and powered sub!
My two cents: This is awesome.
Yeah, whatever happened to the 2 cents guy? Haven't seen him in years.
@@MonoChronicleOfficial idk but hes trans now, thats all i know lmao
@@MonoChronicleOfficialShe’s Two Cents Gal now
@saiyajedi Ah. In that case, does she still give her 2 cents on stuff like this, cuz I still haven't seen her on yt in YEARS
@@MonoChronicleOfficialhe’s here
It's so insane how good these songs are with the bass part audible, drives me crazy that they bury it in every god damn album
The Call of Ktulu with audible bass is something otherworldly and it's fucking wonderful
Except in Garage days re-revisited. There the bass rocks!
Metallica’s specialty.
...And Justice gets a lot of flack but I always thought Master and Lightning had terribly drowned bass too.
Cliffs last album too, the audacity of some people.
You mate should receive an award for what you do for the Metallica and metal fans we are.
One of their heaviest songs🤘🤘🤘🤘 awesome work
It really is, I also love Minus Human from S&M, super heavy as well
One of the heaviest numbers known to man
My reaction when someone asks me the name of Lovecraft's cat-
Oh man, I can *feel* the bass drum vibrate in my headphones
I blast your remixes while driving. Another stellar job!
ME 2 BRO ... 🚘🚗🔊🤘
His version of Blackened is a killer driving tune
My two cents: I'm on the cusp of finishing my book (eta, Halloween), and don't have much energy at the moment to give this a total breakdown. But this has a very comfy sound in my ears. Really highlights how perfect the drumming is.

The most noticable improved part IMHO is the solo at 3:50
Gotta get better headphones...
This song Cliff was writing and James ended up helping, they came up with a MASTERPIECE!!!!!
Well done. Your mix really thickened the track up, and the bass sounds killer. This is close to what the Live seatlle '89 sounds like. Also, give it up to Kirk for one of the wildest solos he's ever done!
Kirk apparently wrote the solo in less than an hour
@@simplgaming8495 I wish Kirk would take the time to write cool solos like this these days. He just improvises off the cuff, anymore. The stuff he wrote in the 80's and on the black album was legendary
Please finish the MOP album Ahdy, yout work is awesome ♥️
Leper Messiah and Damage. Inc don't have isolated tracks of guitar, bass, drums, vocals
Another outstanding mix. The clarity is amazing. I think I can hear stuff in the song I've never heard before.
That’s how his battery remaster was too you could hear the rhythm riff during the solo and it’s awesome. I can’t really hear it in the original. 😊
@@Janjibro66
Good ears Mate. 👂
I can just hear it 🎸🔊🤘
An underrated gem from MoP. Amazing job on this version, and cool visuals!
James’ vocals are incredible

It's always been one of my favorites
Wait what?? I didn't know that was a thing... I'm not sure why that is, but this is one of my top tracks from the album
Huge Metallica fan since 1988…seen them 6 times. Top 5 songs of all time
5. Frantic
4. Fade to Black
3. Am I Evil (cover)
2. Breadfan (cover)
1. The Thing That Should Not Be
The growl of the bass really compliments the rest of the sound, love it 😍😍
The opening is a jaw-dropper that immediately shows what you're in for. Love it.
Brilliant work yet again! I am going to build myself playlists of the first four albums with your tracks. I know they aren’t complete yet, but they are getting there! This is my go-to way to listen to Metallica now.
I use Dirpy to rip the audio and listen to these mixes on my phone. I have a Adhy Khairat playlist. 😀
Wow, this is so good that it feels illegal to listen to. I shouldn’t have access to something this amazing!
Awesome job as always, ride the lightning next?
THE MAD MAN ACTUALLY DID IT THANK YOU AHDY
You somehow made the thing that should not be even better

Yes! I was hoping you'd do this one! 🤘🤘
Doing the lord's work yet again, thank you!
Sweet another upload!!!
No shit, I was listening to version 1 today driving home from work and it sounded like it needed a tune-up. You’re awesome Ahdy!
Awesome dude. One of my favourite song. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Jesus, those rhythm guitars are menacing. I really like the lower pitch of the snare, too.
The video is really cool, too. You always put so much thought into details like those.
I love this song, and the artwork in this video is crazy good.
Yep. Made my evening.
The heaviness man. Incredible.
I thought you did a perfect job on the last remaster of this, and yet here it is. “Perfecter”
Uhh nice, i've been waiting for this.
Amazingg, i love that you can hear the bass very clearly in this mix
Welp NM the cover i was working on. 😂 Again great job! Love all the tiny details you do on your remix and remasters! Keep it up!!
Excellent Remaster!.....ohhh yurrrr!
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!!!!!!

This is phenomenally well done. One of my favorites from Master of Puppets. Such a great groove.
awesome work as always Andy Khairat, keep with your beautiful work

Very good
Fkin masterful
Your remixes are amazing. Can you please do St. Anger? Your version of Frantic is fantastic.
Masterpiece as usual❤
Well done!
you should remix and remaster more metallica songs and more often... because your work is amazing!
I only have 1 penny, i like how the bass has this growling tone to it! 🔥 drums sound punchy af too 😎
FIRE
It’s crazy that even the mighty Cliff Burton got his bass muted. This video is excellent
More! :)))
Top 10 Kirk solo
Short and simple, but my God it's haunting
I would love to give my two cents...but alas it is not my duty.
Lol
Did the drums get remixed/redone too?? Jesus christ, those bass drums & cymbal hits HOLYYY
Rise, Old Great One! Rid us of our sanity! Consign us to oblivion!!!
The bass is a lot more blended in the guitars
Great stuff
Im sure the two cent’s guy gonna love it🤘🏿
MOAR BASS!!!!
🤙 sounds good, thanks!

FUCK YEAH!
Made it even heavier.
Well done! This a fantastic remix. Sounds like a more modern production while still sounding very much the era it is from.
Wow, great job! That artwork at 0:40 is incredible; is that yours?
Slowly takes out rolling paper & herb.
I like this remix a lot! Master of puppets in new compression sound
On my birthday!!!
The Cliff That Should Not Be
