Holly Gabrielle If we spend 15~20 hours for each classes every week, Theoretically, we college students would have very little time for social interaction and leisure.
I wish I could rewind the past 10 years of my life to be this organized and consistent. I’ve earned my PhD in physics, but it was a struggle. In particular I get depressed and discouraged often if I don’t understand a concept fast enough, which slows me down further. Your positive upbeat energy was a pleasure to watch.
I have the same problem with learning from other people's notes or from the actual book. I need to write down my version of what I have read in order to actually remember it. Since I'm getting a degree in history of art I also find it very helpful to do simple drawings of paintings, church plans and so on.
I’ve been in a serious motivational rut over the last two years - like I’ve had serious issues being consistent with my schoolwork, my health, chores, honestly everything. I knew I needed to change but I didn’t know how to. Once I found your channel, I’ve finally felt motivated and energized for the first time in a long time. 20:20 I have the exactly same white table with cupboards at the side 😂😂 got it from ikea years ago, used to be my sister's desk but she's studying overboard now, so I use it to put the books I wanna read (pz. I literally hv five stacks of books haven't read yet I still buy a ton in bookfairs)
How do you actually get yourself to study? Like I have such a big problem with procastination, I can never ever manage to study before the last minute possible. I can study at a given time and the setting is great as well, but I just don't😂 I know, it's terrible! Could you please give me some tips? I admire your dedication❤
Procrastinating is my problem as well , however it also helped me to become super fats in doing my homework. I have written essays and learnt whole chapters just 15 minutes before lessons. I have studied in car, bus , elevator, bathroom, in class right before a lesson.

SO MOTIVATING. ive been struggling with school lately and all my classmates have gone ahead of me. We have very very important exams in less than 2 months. Hey, I’m a busy girl too and I have to commute to the next town over by bus to get to my college, a way I keep studying light and portable is using safety pins to hold my revision notes when I’m on the bus for example or in the kitchen! Love your videos you’re super cute

Yes please a revision video would be helpful thank youuu as I'm a science student too, I do biomedicine 1st year student . My exams are in may and I'm starting to revise now. I too condense my notes down, type them up and then rewrite them,some of the lecturers make such LONG powerpoints, like 40+slides whaaaaat?! And coincidence I'm the same type of learner as you! I need to do things are see colour, make mindmaps, do questions etc.

Hi..just thought I'd share my thoughts with u... unfortunately there are no shortcuts to Good grades.... I'd advise u to start revising lessons taught in class frequently.....this gets u familiar with content...and I have noticed that in some countries (I'm in india) there are no periodic tests instead the tests and bunched up..so in that case I would advise u to test yourself on units therefore making yourself familiar with the concept (sry that was way 2 long)

The only way I've been able to get myself to sudy is by finding a way that's fun for me so that's what would be my tip lol

perhaps there's no shortcuts but there's certainly ways to be more effective. check out Ali Abdaal's channel, he's great on that.
