@ It good timing for the Labour government as well, as they will want to keep a flow of these announcements coming, Reeves won't want to announce everything in her big speech at once.
Glad to see movement!!! If universal does anything to the area like Disney did to Orlando, now is the time to invest in land! I truly hope for their success there.
Definitely feel like they are waiting for Epic Universe to either be finished or close to finishing before they make an announcement as not to take too much attention away from it but who knows
Bird nesting season starts the beginning of march and it would be illegal to remove those trees and shrubs until after the end of august . While not a definate sign that the project is going ahead , it does make sense to remove it now so as to avoid possible delays later .
All depends on how they’re phasing the construction. Sometimes the most obvious place for a compound is inconvenient for works taking place. Always try to place a compound where it can stay the longest without needing to be moved / has least impact on main works.
I thought that but I've walked across that ground before and it's quite soft. They will have to do something quite substantial to it to make it suitable for offices/cars etc.
Can't wait for the day you're drone is up watching them run tests on their coasters like the drone shots for Epic Universal. I hope when construction starts you will visit the site more frequently?
Nice video, really enjoyed and look forward to more soon. I would of thought they would of had theme park all on site where theme park, citywalk and transport hub is planned and have citywalk on site where brickworks used to be? Aswell built over Manor Road via second level and bridge with entrance to park off that near Kempston Hardwick station? Keeping Kempston Hardwick station with rail platform upgrades etc? Aswell give access to resort aswell all to nature lakes there aswell room to 2nd gate up other end? Makes more sense to me to have a resort layed out like that than what they have layed it out as in the masterplan? Unless its changed? I have given this as feedback to them, as think that would of been better layout? With transport hub being one Kempston Hardwick station and Wixams the 2nd? With maybe a 200 acres park? With loads of expansion space? I mean currently its all speculation & could change? But thats how I would lay it all out, not in my opinion via masterplan they have planned & used. But nice vlog, really did enjoy and look forward to seeing more vlogs & updates soon. 😀👍
Everything will be built over the fields. I believe the concrete slab will be where they build the construction village for the people building the place.
@@ProjectUniversalUK, So is this where all hotels, business operations HQ would be going in? Aswell additional parking? Aswell maybe a 2nd gate? Or will a second gate go down the other end with theme park entrance? On flat parking site with expansion space? If so? Makes better sense, love to see a hotel over looking North lake area? Be nice & special area? 🤔😀👍
As far as we know the concrete slab (north site) is for future use and has nothing significant planned. For now I would expect all the construction companies to be based there while they build the theme park, city walk etc on the fields.
@@ProjectUniversalUK, 😁 Cheers, makes sense. Hopefully we hear back if its going ahead or not, I hope so and think it will be, but I guess we shall see? Cheers again, look forward to more updates soon. 😁
You know this account is gonna blow up when they start building universal😊
🤯
That greenlight is coming so very very soon!
Very
My next bet is May, after their new park in Orlando is open.
@@DavidKnowles0 that’s what I was thinking

Nowhere else do I get so excited for a video of dirt! Cant wait for this announcement!!
Dirt, skips, diggers.... the list is endless!

That and the fact nobody has touched that site for at least 20 years says something is about to happen
I came here to say just this, beat me to it 😂👍
It’s only illegal if there are nesting birds in the trees. Doing it now removes the risk of not being able to remove them between March / sept.
great video and channel. Really looking forward to construction to start.
Thanks.

They build the contractors compound where it won't interfere with the development
Betting activities increase in just a few weeks after the announcement. Subbed to watch it all.
Good to have you here

Number one!
thanks for the update.
You're welcome
Might not seem much but that's early clearance work ready for them site offices etc we are only weeks away from that green light 🚦🙏

Me too. I can't wait! I'm already looking for a new zoom lens drone!
Thanks for showing us the prime theme park weather one can expect when visiting in 10 years. 😂
Our pleasure!
Hey just wondering if there's a community discord or if it's just facebook
Not that I know off

What year are they looking to complete it?
2030/31
Looks like the farmers have planted seeds in the ground, so I’ll imagine construction won’t start until after they’ve harvested the produce.
It'll take 6 months to build the construction facilities on a project this size. By then the crops should be gone.
How many of those houses have Universial Studio manage to buy?
I only know of about 5 even then nothing official has been said but I think it's obvious it was them.
It's also the right time to be harvesting for a biomass project
well said, althought you could sell your content to aliesha from theme park stop.shes nice
Maybe 🤔
Did they buy all them houses they were buying? Or is there still people living in some
50/50
Are those houses on the site gonna be demolished?
Most likely as they apparently bought some of them, they are in a bizarre place and leaving them there would be odd
Quite possibly
Great video
Thanks for the visit
They better have a lord of the rings land in this park
Great thanks for keeping us updated … we all can make a request to universal for you to be the chief guest .. to cut the ribbon 🫢
Great idea
Where there’s muck there’s brass …
It won’t work think of the British weather competed to LA
