Understanding Mindfulness Breathing Technique B3
"B3" is a simple mindfulness breathing technique to help you connect with the present moment. We also refer to this technique as the "home" within our bodies, meaning it's an anchor for us to be in the here and now during our meditation and everyday life situations.
In the practice of B3, focus on the subtle sensation of your breath as it gently passes through the nostrils during inhalation and exhalation while maintaining normal breathing.

Mindfulness Technique B3 helps us stay connected to the present moment by using our breath as an anchor. Focusing on the inside of the nostrils is particularly effective because breathing is constant, providing us with a readily available tool to maintain awareness of the here and now-without interrupting other activities. How do you pinch your nose AND breathe in / out? Doesn’t seem possible.
In another video he said don't pinch it so hard that you can't breathe in and out, just a gentle squeeze on both sides.
Indeed, it's just a gentle squeeze to enhance your awareness of the subtle sensation of your breath touching the insides of your nostrils. By familiarizing yourself with this feeling, you develop a heightened sensitivity, making it easier to recognize the sensation and connect with your breath during your mindfulness practice and everyday activities.
Do you work out? I'm honestly curious, I'd like to gain muscle like you have, but I'm not too sure how to go about it.
