Like when saw goes forward and then is pulled back and cuts for example wood. All Corte figures have in common Man’s step back (Waltz Hover Corte, Reverse Corte, Tango Back Corte) Not sure this is to helpful explanation.
Thanks Janko for your question. Reverse Corte is with less swing than Hover Corte. Hover Corte can be extended in time to 2 bars of music. Also Hover Corte you can start from Promenade. Hope this helps you to decide which Corte suits for your routine.
