I was friends with this swan and I used to come over and give her snacks. One day I thought it would be a good idea to bring her some fresh clean water so she could soak her snacks. She didn’t like the clean water. And she quickly switched over to the water from the lake mixed in with dirt and all kinds of other stuff…
I wonder about that when I see Wrinkle nibbling around in the mud. Perhaps they are drawn to its minerals.
@@Groundedsquirrel Maybe they need the bacteria, or it’s important for their digestion…. Mud (or clay) is also a good detoxifier.
