- Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is contesting from Uttar Pradesh's Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat and Congress loyalist KL Sharma has been fielded from the Amethi Lok Sabha constituency, according to the Congress party's press release.
Priyanka Gandhi is not contesting the Lok Sabha elections from either of the two Congress bastions. Last date of filing nominations from both Rae Bareli and Amethi is today.

To be credible Rahul Gandhi needs to publicly announce that reducing OBC quota by 4% & giving that to Muslims by Congress Govt in Karnataka was a mistake. Rahul Gandhi also needs to announce that Congress would not only reverse it but assure the nation that it won't do this in future and respect Baba Saheb Ambedkar's Constitution & Supreme Court judgment that called reservation on the basis of religion, unconstitutional.
