I saw these guys live in Florida where they headlined in front of 7000.
They are fantastic live! A lot of hard driving Rock and a few power ballads. They do some pop Rock, and their latest album is a little more produced. Almost all their stuff is even better live. The four of them will tell you that they have multiple influences, including the bands you mentioned, and going all the way back to Led Zeppelin. If it wasn’t for the fact that they are from Rome, and have a lot of excellent, but Italian language songs, they would have blown up sooner.
They are very cohesive and have been together since high school. They are not heavy drug users, and actually quietly anti-hard drugs. They have a huge following in the alternative community, as the bassist is at least Bi, and perhaps the drummer, and they are pro LGBT. The singer Damiano historically has written all the lyrics, but recently they are collaborating a bit with others.
Basically a fresh look and sound for classic Rock, more along the lines of Queen and glam Rock.
A concise and efficient summary, bravo!
And the thing is, even the oldest member of the band, Damiano, is only 24, all the others are younger than that.
Please more of Maneskin! They are amazing! They just dropped a new album 2 months ago !

Interesting choice of song to getting to know them, but it works :). They are really fresh breath of air in today's rock scene. They have fantastic live presence. They are huge now, probably one of the biggest rock bands today. They have a new song with Tom Morelo, you should check it out.

Good afternoon gentlemen, I was hoping you hadn't heard of this band, but you listen to everything so it shouldn't be a surprise. I was certainly shocked after learning who they are, and what they won in the Eurovision. I loved the way the bass and the guitar played off each other to bring the song to the end, for me that is what made the song, I enjoyed the rest of the song but loved those two bouncing off each other. I think many people were asking why was the camera man (or woman, or person) didn't focus more on the bass player, as you said she was the star attraction, and her bass playing was excellent as well. You should take a look at *The Warning - DISCIPLE Live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 08/29/2022* to see three artists ( sisters ) bouncing off each other. Their bassist doesn't need to show her nipple, most guys fall to their knee's just seeing her beautiful bass. The color is named after her by the bass producer.

Strange that someone involved in music has not heard of them. They have just finished a tour of the United States, they opened for the Rolling Stones in Las Vegas (winning thousands of fans), several newspapers wrote that their performances at Coachella and Lollapalooza were the best, they have been on Fallon twice, once on Kimmel and Ellen, Iggy Pop collaborated with them and now, also Tom Morello... and they received a nomination for 'best new artist' at the Grammys. Then, as a poor ignorant Italian, I have such a strong curiosity that forces me to ask a question: why is it that in the United States you find a small boob covered by a star so provocative and your puritanical little eyes are never troubled by the continuous spectacle of practically naked women wiggling their asses and simulating coitus, so familiar on your TVs? Is it because you perceive that the two behaviours have diametrically opposite ends and you are frightened by this? We are not in the USA we are in Canada and born in Portugal, so stop with this stereotypical view of what people here are or not, I just like boobs. I get excited every time I see them. I have seen my wife’s boobs 1000 times and I still get excited. Ask questions but don’t assume you know the answer.

Don't be harsh with them, Clelia. :) Antonio e Pedro are nice guys, real metalheads; they knows the italian metal scene, they reacts to Nanowar of Steel and Frozen Crown years ago and now. They do interview with the italian band members (just few hours ago with Nanowar's membres). They knows Jovanotti, Laura Pausini and more. Just they do some humor.

Think Blind Channel was second or third with the public vote though. Blind Channel like go_a were just fucked over by the juries. They were great, though I liked Måneskin better.

I was DJ at my work Christmas party couple of years ago and I got a request for Maneskin. I've never heard of them before or since. Eurovision... Not really my cup of tea, they look like they were on their way to a Versace catwalk show and they decided to form a band. Cheers guys.

Sex & drugs & Rock & Roll was part of the 70s but neither was dependent on the others. You don''t need Sex or drugs involved in any great Rock.
Some great rock bands don't need gimmicks or to use any drugs to be great. One good example of today is the all-female group *The Warning* from Mexico. People go crazy over them without any stars on their bodies. They let their instruments and voices speak for themselves. The latest video on their channel is *Disciple* recorded live in Mexico City last August.

What a stupid comment! Firstly, Maneskin don't use drugs, they are against it. At most, a bit of weed. Second: the time for groopies has been over for decades. Women have changed and (thankfully) so have most men. Third: The fact that Victoria leaves one breast bare is a provocation and a proclamation, made to desexualise women's bodies. She is not a wannabe pop star who is twerking. In short, one you usually see on your TVs.

it’s not for sex appeal that she wears the stars, its to prove a point. it’s the idea of “there’s 3 men on stage that are completely shirtless but you only have a problem with my chest being out” which is also why you will often see them wearing matching outfits also as a point of “we’re wearing the same thing but it’s only sexual when i wear it” so if you see what she’s wearing and make it sexual it’s you that she’s talking about
