I hope they consider making the Breakout reward diamonds again The new reward gems are cool and all but I kinda wanna be able to spend them without thinking "oooh maybe I could've spend them in diamonds instead" They're already taking a step in the right direction by making trial rewards diamonds again by the mid-month update, and making the entire reward shop stock available at once instead of being random. Of course, this is coming from a f2p veteran with everything maxed, I have no idea how's the not so old players are doing, for all I know this could be Invocation Card-tiers of bad.
Tbh the breakout reward should've been these new gems AND crystals. After all it's like MicMac said in the reveal video for this, the biggest problem with breakout was that the final reward isn't as worth it if you already have those legendaries maxed out, so being able to stock up on golden gems AND still get just as many crystals from breakout would've been the best case scenario. And nah, it's nowhere near invocation cards bad, or even new magic lab bad, this is an objectively really good idea, just with a rocky execution, still easy to fix.
blue slushy is soo coolll i love her she gives big pond dino vibes (also some issues is that with certain jelly sets, things like blast mode jellies and potions appear behind the jellies instead of in front (i have missed like a LOT of potions because of this))
I don't think the change is nearly AS bad as some people are making it out to be (no it's not worse than the magic lab changes or invocation cards), and in fact overall I think this is a better step in the right direction than the gacha removal was (I'm still mad I actually miss a GACHA system of all things ugh), but I do think the execution was flawed in some ways. I do not think gems should've replaced EVERYTHING, I think they should just be an additional reward ON TOP OF coins, crystals, cubes, etc. rather than completely replacing those. I do still think the system is otherwise fine, I actually really appreciate how I was able to get Moon Rabbit and her pet's new costumes super quickly when it was frustrating to try and grind for Starfruit's, so I'm looking forward to those special costumes being easier to obtain, because the only thing worse than gacha, I think, is FOMO. I also think all the reward currencies being combined and golden tickets being obtainable from all game modes is ultimately a step in the right direction for reasons laid out perfectly in the original announcement video; I honestly resent playing trophy race, so being able to get golden tickets from trials and breakout, my favorite game modes, is refreshing, and furthermore, breakout rewards WERE frustrating since I already had those cookies and pets maxed out. Speaking of game modes, though, uhhh... new story mode chapter when? It's kinda sad how between story mode and also hard mode trials just feel kinda... neglected. We've only gotten ONE new hard mode trial added for an older trial since its inception, not counting legendary buffs, like the video announcing them implied would happen for ALL trials, and it's only because of a community vote. And on that note, I miss when older cookies got new trials, like they did when I started playing (Werewolf, Dr. Wasabi, Carol, etc.) and the last time that happened was ALSO because of a community vote. Bring back infinite trials too. With so much focus on trial candies replacing the gacha system, it'd be nice if there was more to actually do with trials.
For some reasons, whenever I play her trial, the frames tend to drop making it a bit laggy but still playable. At least, I was able to play perfectly. Anyway, blue slushy cookie looks adorable
