As the foetus grows the low resistance circulation become high resistance ; and because of that diastolic flow should reduce with increase in period of gestation. Isn't it? Then S/D ratio should decrease with increase in POG . But why S/D ratio is increasing with increase in POG in normal pregnancy ?

As pregnancy increase resistance decreases as baby needs more blood to accommodate growth.
