Mike's humor is awesome and how fast he comes up with it is amazing.
I have stopped dead lifting this week because I was checking if it hindered me, and oh boy, Dead lifts are insane, I never felt better, did more sets on everything else lol, this video is amazing, thank you for all the knowledge and information you have shared.
Brilliant video, I always wondered about the cost vs benefit of deadlifts. Great stuff!
Excellent information! Very helpful and concise. Thank you both so much.
NOTIFICATION SQUAAAAAA 🔥
An interview with dr Mike is always a good thing to listen to 🙏
Thank you!
Awesome video!
“You’re the more robust earth worm” 😂😂😂
would be smart to have his whole name in the title, cuz i searched for "mike israetel deadlift fatigue" and i couldnt find it..
Agreed! It's certainly sub optimal for YT's search algorithm, since it won't show up now when someone searches for "Mike Israetel"
Agreed
Any link for the talk he mentioned with Jeff Nippard?
The specific episode?
Ever find it? I'm looking for it too
@@Steven-bq5fu No
Russian brother Mike!!
That's all awesome but where is the "The Scientific Principals of Hypertrophy Training"
17:00
the blink game totally off on this one
Deadlift for strength (for doing deadlift) okay, but deadlift for muscle growth ...?
Which muscle is really dynamically trained except for the glutes. None, almost every muscle group is stimulated isometrically and I think that is not the most optimal way to achieve muscle growth. I believe that deadlift for muscle growth has virtually no added value.
Isometric training *alone* isn't optimal but that hardly matters when you're also doing other exercises for those muscles. Also, isometrics are underrated, for instance loaded stretching, and look at what rings gymnasts achieve from focusing on isometrics.
@Damon Hargrave I was responding to Sam.
Agreed. I'm the same - I'm a natural deadlifter and suck at squats even though I practice them more.
It is probably the best excercise for growing most peoples spinal erectors, no?
It's dumb to talk shit about deadlifts cause if your deadlifts are fatiguing you just lower the weight, volume intensity etc to what is manageable. If you find it fatiguing you it means it is working. No other exercise lets you load as much weight as deadlifts and couple of others so what did you expect?
Dr. Mike speaking WAY TOO FAST. what's the hurry? Or maybe the problem is low quality audio too. Or is it the "power whisper"?
Áudio problems I think, he speaks the same on other videos and it’s possible to hear better. At least it looks like.
My first thought within the first minute of the video was the audio quality is poor.
