I never got a chance to see the Broadway version of this show. So I went to a local version last night. I thought I'd died and gone to comedy heaven when this number came on. Superb.
Seriously love how she only seems worried about the idea her daughter might do it but my top favourite moment is "My Darlings it might even be Tonight!" - just makes realise how much I love the Addams Family :D
At First I didn't like her Voice and thought: what is that?!? But After a while I realised, that I have Never Heard Someone Sing like bebe! She has truly a re- recognition factor ! And her Dancing is adorable too....in interviews she is so shy but on Stage she blossoms Out ! That quality Makes her a reallY likeable and heartly and True Person ! Bebe....you got me -3

Tamia's Camera Roll Totally. The Broadway cast set a precedent, and they originated the show, so I’ll never it love them. But you can just see how far the industry has come by comparing the two productions.

It's 'if life's all plumbs' because in an earlier scene, Wednesday makes Morticia anxius because elarlier she had heard Wednesday call her old, and when Gomez tried to console herm he accidently called her old, or a 'prune, while Wednesday was young, a 'plumb'. So that was the reference to her facing the fact that she's getting older but doean't want to admit it.
I was just in this a few months ago (I played an opera singer ancestor) and honestly, I think we did this number better. In the dance break we actually had tap dancing, and good quality too. Plus, in the last verse, we had a big kickline, mode extravagant than this one cuz they're simply doing little kicks while we did a bunch of different kinds like passe and really high ones. A lot of effort went into it for a public theater company full of 6-18 year olds
