The Queen has entered the room.
She's by far the greatest singer of all time
So whatever she does,it's the best
Now that's SOUL music! Whew!
Bro. Aretha’s version is a tutorial for those others. Her voice is spectacular!
Tell him!! Say that again! Ree is the GOAT
Aretha`s live version is fire... When I first saw this performance a couple years ago my jaw dropped .
i love that intro oh my god😭🔥🔥aretha part
Can’t top the original Ms Aretha Franklin in her hay day 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
There is another version from Aretha on UA-cam of her singing this on The Midnight Special also in 1976. She's wearing a blue knit two piece that's kind of revealing. That performance is wow, you should check it out or react to it.
Yeah that's good too I seen that one.
YES! The one in the blue outfit is fierce..!!!!
Yeah, she started gaining the weight back on that video.

Hey now Jody… we love Antie Ree-Ree no matter what her weight. Same wid Luther.
That was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Aretha version of this song is the best by far no one else comes close
Sing it Aretha, sounds good to me. Cissy Houston putting her wood in the song. Young man you should have been back in our days you heard good music.
Aretha’s version on the Curtis Mayfield soundtrack is the original version
love the slowed down version
I absolutely love this song -- love me some Retha. She has SO many gems. Check out "Angel."
Don't waste your time looking for a better version. Yes, En Vogue did a cover that was very similar to the movie version. That is all it was. Aretha's version has always held supreme.... studio or live. Yes, En Vogue does a great job at recreating the "Sparkle " moment, Aretha SANG that song. Once again, the original is always better ❤
love her voice but yeah En Vogue's version is by far my favorite
Put the crack down son.
@@kennethwilliams3182 based on your statement I am probably older than you and I am most definitely sure that I prefer En Vogues version MUCH more
@@musicandmoviefan9217 and?.., those over the hill ho's aint never done anything better than Aretha.., ps..., where those ho's now?
@@kennethwilliams3182
I too feels he is operating under some kinda duress, handicap or witchcraft
JFro??
EnVogue who?
Dey aight but don’t loose your soul to blasphemy
The best version in my opinion. The down home soul version.
So good!
Aretha, is just a Awesome singer, She is sensitive to each note ...!!!
She always sounds like She's at a Church revival..Go Queen...!!!
This is soul music at its very best,we love you Queen of Soul ❤❤❤
She's the original singer it was written for her.
Aretha’s version is the original and the best of them all. She smoked this song and the entire album, Sparkle.
This is the version that i feel the deepest. Aretha Franklin is the GOAT. The true Queen Of Soul.
She Lost that Weight and she was doing it with Glynn Turman...
She was the best of all the Queens. Rip❤❤❤
RIP MS. FRAQNKLYN.
❤❤❤❤❤
Yeah, she had lost all this weight and was trying to be a sex symbol. Understand her rival in her head at the time was a young Chaka Khan.
Actually it was Natalie Cole in ‘76 not Chaka. Natalie won the Grammy that year for her debut album. I think Aretha should’ve won-that was her best 70’s album.
There was no rival at that time Aretha reign Supreme 👑👏👏👏
