I really need to get to Growing Up Disabled, I’m so glad there’s lots of prideful stories in there, disability pride has been quite empowering for me. ❤
My son's dad is blind and we all live in the USA. When I became pregnant I was shocked by how many people honestly couldn't understand how he could have made a kid just because he is blind. Plus so many people expressed worry over him being able to take care of a baby. My son's dad was actually the first of us to hold our son.
I loved how you highlighted the importance of diverse perspectives in literature. It's incredible to see you shedding light on such an important topic. Your recommendations are going straight onto my TBR pile. Keep being the awesome and thoughtful BookTuber that you are! Can't wait for your next video! 🎉📖💜
so lucky has an interesting cover i'm into it the more i look at it lol when you brought up this video idea i was gonna recommend love from a to z so i'm glad you tried it out
If you're getting swooped by any bird, put your arm straight and your palm flat (as if to say stop) towards them and they'll turn around before they hit your hand. Random but I hope this helps 😅
Was that first story about the blind person and public transport by Olivia? She's a friend, and what I hear about her and Gemma (her guide dog) going through with strangers is so sad
Have never clicked so fast on a video before.
Also when Tilly was meowing at the beginning, Benji was super interested. I ship them.
OMG I SHIP THEM TOO 😂 tillji???
