    I listen to my Pimsleur while I workout. I feel like life is a game and everyday is a run to being as successful as possible while still trying to sleep enough at night

      Pimsleur is great, I have one of the old Italian versions. I like to listen to this on vacation for some reason. Thanks for the comment :)

    You my sir are doing what no language influencers is doing. I thank you for your unique ideas and inspiring people like me who have no time to learn and wants to naturally acquire the language.

    To add I also do the same thing in the mornings, usually when I’m in the gym I’m able to get about half an hour of video immersion while doing cardio on the treadmill, plus some passive listening during the car ride before and after.

      Great tip! This is definitely something I can try in the gym, thanks

    When searching for music, it helps to know the genre that appeals to you. For example, in Latin music, we have salsa, tango, reggaeton, vallenato, and my two favorite styles, bolero and ranchera. So all you do is go into Spotify or UA-cam and search for playlists in that genre. You'll find more than enough to keep you busy!

    Great and useful video! I remember playing an old PS1 game Syphon Filter in Spanish in order to use this immersive learning method. Not sure it had really helped back then but at least I've learned how to conjugate verbs in Future Simple and form a couple of phrases like "one more question".

      @RickayyB  Місяць тому +1

      Really glad you found it useful :) yes, I’ve noticed I have acquired a few specific phrases from my gaming. I’ve also found repeatedly seeing / hearing words that I’ve previously learned is key to cement them in my brain, and the immersive approach is great for this. Thanks for the comment!

    Music is definitely a great learning source. I will listen to the radio I hear a song I like I will "shazam" it then open the song in YT then download the song direct to my phone. I even shazam songs when I go to restaurants or even watching TV and it's on my play list

      This is great, thanks Jon. Do you have a source of radio stations or is it as simple as using Google?

      Good suggestion. I have tried this but struggled to get it to work well with the free version. Maybe I’ll invest in the paid version. Thanks for the recommendation!

    Ben fatto! I also like to watch American made series I love but dubbed in Italian. I have one Netflix profile that is always in Italian as the preferred language setting. Not all series are dubbed in Italian, but Many are. I watched, for example, the Witcher all in Italian. Italians are famous for doing an excellent job of dubbing with great acting.

      @@RickayyB Nice! Even if I’ve seen an episode in English, watching it again in Italian enables me to focus on learning the language, and I usually put it into Italian subtitles also.

    Attento con Google Translate perché alcune traduzioni letterali non funzionano. Per esempio a 2:00 relaxing stretch = tratto rilassante non ha senso. In realtà in italiano si usa la parola inglese "stretching", quindi stretching rilassante. Tratto vuol dire distance/length, a stretch of road: un tratto di strada. Spero che tu abbia capito e in bocca al lupo con l'italiano 😉

    • @RickayyB
      @RickayyB  10 днів тому

      Ah grazie! È divertente vedere cosa mi propone Google Translate a volte. Ho iniziato ad usare di più ChatGPT perché trovo che le sue traduzioni siano più naturali. Ho notato che anche in italiano si usa la parola ‘stretch’. Grazie per il tuo aiuto 🤩

    2 hrs for exercising??? Wow. I’d rather use that time to learn languages.

      Aha yeah, usually 👟 It all adds up with the logistics of getting there, changing into my kit and getting home. I’ll have to find a way to incorporate language learning there too :)
      Thanks for the comment!
