Hi Jason! We love our coffee! We use: 1) 1 cup Kurig 2) Electric drip pot 3) Purculator 4) Coleman stovetop drip coffemaker. I just don't like those coffee press things. Coffee? strong and dark, with a touch of milk. Wife likes it black!
We use a french press with Maxwell House filter packs. Use a Comfee electric kettle to heat the water. The ketlle goes off once the water reaches boiling temp or you can take it off before the water boils. Makes about 3 cups 0f great coffee
Hello Jason! My favorite method is French Press. They also make a one cup French Press. Heating up one or two cups of water in the electric kettle must take the same amount, or maybe less, of energy than using the Keurig. Please continue your good work. Great channel.
Thanks for the positive reply. I need to try the French press. I have heard that the flavor is much better. Have you tried the option where you pour hot water over the coffee grains?
@@HowToRV Of course, that’s what you do with a French Press coffee pot or mug… You put the coffee grains at the bottom, poor the hot water, insert the press, wait few minutes then press down to hold the grains at the bottom.
French press for me too! Side benefit is I can make a large amount and whatever strength I prefer and save a decent bit for iced coffee later (which in Texas I often prefer)! A lot of HEB or Whole Foods grocery stores will sell coffee beans and grind them for you so the flavor is fresher and a coarse grind is much better!
I use a Moca pot to make coffee and use the Blackstone as the heat source (wife hates the smell of coffee). I basically get one cup of coffee out of the Moca pot (but I'm the only coffee drinker). I actually stopped using the Keurig in our camper because of the power draw.
Percolator does make complete sense on boon-docking days. Have you ever tried French press or the method where you pour the hot water over the coffee that is in a filter?
@@HowToRV I've never used a French press (my wife has). I remember my parents had one of the pour over thingies when I was young. We have no problem finishing off a large percolator every morning when we camp.
Small PERC brewed with gas is our choice. It only makes two large cups, so no need to keep it on after brewing. We prefer the taste over the kuerig. Nothing beats kuerig for convenience though!
We also use a percolator, but just got a Bellman CX-25P. Still getting things dialled in with the Bellman but excited for our next trip at the end of the month. We pretty much only boondock.
@@HowToRV yeah, it’s the Keurig K-Mini Plus. Just had my first cup about 10 minutes ago. Not bad but I’m use to my giant Keurig from home that can deliver more ounces in a single cup but that big boy would take up too much room in this rv.
I brew with a Keurig…. That’s how I brew! (Your Mother). Love you!! 😘💕👍🏻☕️
And that must be where I get it from. 😂. Love ya to mother.
I love coffee and have to have at least one cup every morning. Hope you feel better soon!
I am feeling much better thanks. I am currently on the road for a 17 day round trip.
We always just use a pour over. Makes a much better cup of coffee to me.
Thanks for your videos!
What method do you use to heat the water?
I do love my Java. This was very informative. I loved it. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you. Glad to see. We need to connect.

Same here. Strong, tad bit of milk and a little sugar.
Pray that you get better soon bud, it’s camping season lol.

Does it bring out the flavor in the coffee? I really like to have strong flavored coffee.
We have used the Kurig method but now we have a single cup coffee maker that uses ground or a K-cup.love it
I was thinking of getting the k cup adapter that I can put my own coffee grinds in. Does it work good for you? If so, how does it work?

Our French press is great. It makes the coffee strong and flavorful

I brew with a keruig and i love it 🧡
Hi five. It’s been a game changer for us.
I use a Moca pot to make coffee and use the Blackstone as the heat source (wife hates the smell of coffee). I basically get one cup of coffee out of the Moca pot (but I'm the only coffee drinker). I actually stopped using the Keurig in our camper because of the power draw.
I have never heard of the moca pot. I will have to look that up. I am lucky in the fact that my wife loves coffee just as much as i do.
Get well.
I did get better. Out on a 2 week trip. Thank you for the kind thought.
I use the Keurig too lol.
This is a first for us. So far we are loving it. Only thing better than coffee is hot fast right now coffee. 😂
We use the Keurig at home, but when we camp (always boondock) it's the percolator.

I agree. The convenience is definitely there. Percolators does give better flavor. I would have to agree.

I will have to look into that. Thanks for the heads up onthe bellman-25P
@@HowToRV Should also note i’m a bit of a coffee snob and use a Rocket espresso machine at home. Coffee is important to my wife and I!
@@stefanb8255 Sugar and Cream??
@@HowToRV just cream if drip coffee, 2% for lattes and such
We use the Hamilton Beach Scoop Single Serve Coffee Maker ☕
What is your coffee flavor of choice?
@@HowToRV I just use Foldgers, but my wife orders a special blend from Java Hut.
@@oralsmith5542 we really like Folgers black silk
We brew ours with a small 4-cup Mr. Coffee. I don't care for the Keurig the hot water going thru the K-Cup foil top and plastic container.
I do understand your point of view.
Just bought a mini Keurig earlier today!
That’s great. Is it the one cup version?
