- This video will show you my first try at nail polish painted wine glasses. Nail polish art is not necessarily as easy as some make it look. This is my first tutorial for painting glass with this technique.

Smooth. Thanks.
Do you use warm water? I just bought 4 glasses today just like that today but I bought the Polish from the dollar store and it said on the video to use stick to stir nothing about taping it.and most of polish went on stick but nothing on Glass
Yes, I used warm, not hot water.
I saw several videos that said dollar store paint clumped and didn't work. Apparently Sally Hansen works well and the water should be room temp...not cold and not hot.
you need a vessel such as a $$ store garbage can that you can dip the glass in a perpendicular fashion rather than a horizontal so you can get the base covered. I would prefer my glass to have the stem colored as well. As for the tape...it produces too much of a straight line rather than a flowing appearance. I would dip and simply stop before I get an inch or so from the top.
Thanks for sharing the information. It was more of an experiment for me. I had not really done this before. Thanks again!
Will these stand up to hand washing?
If you make sure you coat them with Mod Podge dishwasher safe or another protective spray. No abrasive detergent or pads.
