In this video we are testing the Mikrotik NetMetal 5SHP in a lab environment and also on a 12km long link with heavy noise using multiple measurement methods.
Hi! We will share our thoughts of all the devices in the final two episodes. But to answer your question: it's a fair low cost solution with advanced software features.
is there any rules. im using mANT30 PA with NetMetal 5. mANT30 has vertical and horizontal polarisation. So my question is from mANT30 PA itself which one has to go to chain 0 and which one has to go in chain 1
It does not matter which chain uses which polarisation, but it is recommended to go for the same setting on both sides. so if you choose horizontal with chain 0 on one side, then you build the other side of the link the same.
Nice review, however, you didn't share your thoughts on this device. Would you recommend it for such installation?

How does the 5SHPacT-NM do, in the same tests.
We didnt test it, but in 2x2 MIMO we expect almost similar results
Could be interesting to see how well the 3x3 mimo does, on this particular noisy PTP link. Thank you, for your great work.
can you please share the wireless settings
We set up it without any special settings, AP bridge, Station bridge
