Do these need to be refrigerated? I am looking to put small boxes together with edibles for gifts and everything beside cookies seems to need to be refrigerated to stay stable?

Do you ever make tinctures? In a place that cant everclear alcohol and i notice anything blow 90% alcohol content is terrible and doesnt fully destroy the plant material.
I don't use tinctures for the following reasons. I don't like the taste of alcohol. Even if you cook it off, it still has a taste that is very hard to cover in baking. When it comes to candy making the alcohol can interfere with the setting of the candies. About the only thing I can think tinctures would be good for is chocolate truffles. I've tried different edibles made with tinctures and personally I don't like any of them. Now keep in mind I hate alcohol so I'm more sensitive to it than those who like it.
Hi Tieler, I looked up sour straws. I will have to do some experimenting with this. Plus I'm not sure how to make straws. I have an idea going around in my head, hopefully it will work.
Hi Liz, Have you ever seen a TV show called Trailer Park Boys? It's set in Halifax NS. They say about like you do, aboot lol. Does that mean you have a NS accent? Or do all Canadians say aboot? Hi Liz I need to ask you something I made butter buts it's weak I used onz of herb and 4 cups of butter is it ok to remelt and had a 1\4 of hreb ?
it should be fine. How did you make your first batch? Did you add lecithin?

To add more you can't add water into the butter because the water will adhere to the butter.

@@DiamondDelightEdibles what about the tinctures made with oils like olive, coconut/mct oils. Those types should work and taste closer to cannabutter.
@@deleriouskhoas8006 those are oil's. Tinctures are made from alcohol or glycerin.
@@DiamondDelightEdibles You can also make a tincture with vegetable glycerin that can work very nicely in some recipes.
