One of the best group I know, but unfortunately their name is still not as big as other big groups internationally, but in South Korea they're one of the best group who still exists for 10 years and still going on. The Beats' career took a 360° turn in 2015 when they released a Ballad song in summer (originally they are a dance group) and they gained recognition as the Ballad Idols since then, but that doesn't mean they don't make Upbeat songs. They are a self composing and producing group..and altho they have a diverse discography and have tried all kinds of music..they are much better known as the vocal/ballad kings of Kpop. And all 7 members can sing, rap, dance and play instruments. With INSANE, yes Chorong of Apink is the girl in the mv. She's a good friend of BTOB and have done some shows and mvs with them. MISSING YOU is the queen of their songs, earning them 7 music show awards and is still appearing on the charts. It is a sad, beautiful song. And BTOB is known for pouring their hearts out in their songs. They sing with those emotion, whether happy or sad and they pull at the hearts of the listeners. THE SONG is really a song for their fandom named Melody. It is special not only coz it's for their 10th year but also because it's for their comeback after a 4 yr military hiatus. Since 2018, each member enlisted one by one and the last ones were discharged in Nov of last year. Yes, they are very funny and super talented! They are known for their live vocals, so do check out some live performances, they’re insane! You are right about The Song being a song dedicated to the fandom. They came back as a full group after a military hiatus so this song is very special to the fandom! 💙 Songs I recommend next (painful but beautiful songs that are more known, pun intended😋): Beautiful Pain, I’ll be your man. If you like old school RnB ballads and mini movies where they act a lot I recommend It’s Okay and Way Back Home. (These two songs earned them the title healing-idols!) If you like more uptempo: Wow, Beep Beep, Movie, Thriller. Mid-temp: Only one for me, 2nd Confession, Outsider. Their b-side tracks are usually many different genres and tempo, so while they have Missing You (ballad) as a title track they have a b-side in the same album called Blowin’ Up which is edm/pop. So when you hear BTOB being titled “ballad-idols”, it’s not completely true. Take your time to get through their discography, it’s so good! There’s something for any mood you’re in! 😆✌️

Few things about the profiles/positions - those are pretty out of date, the only thing updated are their pictures, really. They did a massive switch in 2015 going from a dance group (which wasn't really gaining traction) to a group known for their emotional ballads when they released It's Okay. (But don't be fooled - they do have a *lot* of upbeat dance tracks, which tbh is more my speed of things.) They don't do a lot of heavy dancing - there's choreography for their songs, but it's not intense, so the 'main dancer' position is ... kind of not there. But it's now Peniel - chosen via a spinning wheel. (I'm dead serious.) But I guess the wheel knew what it was doing - he nailed that dance performance on Kingdom. Minhyuk has been put in as main rapper since Ilhoon left, and both he and Peniel write their own raps, but Minhyuk will do more vocal parts than Peniel will. He's also created some of BTOB's tracks, but Hyunsik is definitely the producer of the group. He's the one that created Missing You, Only One for Me, The Song, and just... a lot of others. His copyrights are actually insane, not from the quantity, but from how popular they are. A few other things - If there's some sexy lyrics, it's probably one of Minhyuk's songs. (Guitar, Whiskey, Blue Moon, etc.) Minhyuk and Peniel both can write some *very* raunchy lyrics, Peniel's more direct while Minhyuk is a bit more poetic. Peniel's Korean-American, so he didn't have to do military service, so he was Melody's "waiting buddy" while everyone did their military service, and The Song is the first song released after everyone was back. There's also some symbolism of that in the MV for The Song with Peniel walking into the RV where everyone else was, it's like they returned from a trip and Peniel (and Melody) are welcoming them back. They're all absolutely certifiably fucking nuts. Not one of them is sane, but there's some less crazy members. They're all very very *very* loud off stage, so adjust volume accordingly.

The song mentions many of the hits BTOB has had during the past 10 years, like Missing You, It's Okay, Beautiful Pain, Only One for Me. Since BTOB is that token ballad group, emotional songs are their thing (tho they are not confined to just ballads, they have upbeat title tracks as well e.g. Movie, Only One For Me). You'll find that they utilise ad-libs and harmonies alot.

Thank you so much for listening to BTOB's songs, I guarantee you'll be addicted to them, most of their album and EP contains masterpieces. One of the best group I know, but unfortunately their name is still not as big as other big groups internationally, but in South Korea they're one of the best group who still exists for 10 years and still going on.
Their song mostly ballad but their non-ballad songs are great too. I recommend you to watch their live performances, they're so bad at lipsync so they don't do that and you'll be more amazed by their live vocals. :D

The Beats' career took a 360° turn in 2015 when they released a Ballad song in summer (originally they are a dance group) and they gained recognition as the Ballad Idols since then, but that doesn't mean they don't make Upbeat songs. They are masters of conveying emotions, have the BEST Vocal line in the industry and has the most unique individual rappers.
For now, I can recommend you to watch a Guide to BTOB by Ilhoon Squad to know more about them. They are super funny and chaotic dorks but their talents a individual and as a group overflows.

All of their songs are really good! But what makes it more amazing is when they sing it live. THEY ARE LIVING LEGENDS when it comes to live singing.

I really enjoyed your reaction! BTOB is a very talented group, but sadly sometimes very underappreciated. They have a diverse discography, they explored almost every genre. Diving into their music is very fun and impressive. As you mention they are very good at conveying emotion. They are a self-produced idol group, main composers are Hyunsik, Ilhoon and Minhyuk. The rappers write their own verses.
Missing you and The Song were composed by Hyunsik. You are right, its a song for the fandom and its very meaningful to us. They are very thankful for the fans and the support they get. The Song it was inspired by BTOB and Melody's journey. The message is beautiful, saying they would sing as long as they have someone who listens to their music, so they will keep doing it until they have no voice. I just love how they released this song as a way to celebrate their 10th anniversary, celebrating the memories they made along the way.
They even included some references of their songs: It's Okay, Missing you, Only one for me and Beautiful Pain. I would recommend this ones for the next reactions :D. It's Okay mv has english subtitles on 1TheK channel, Only One for me and Beautiful Pain mvs have english subtitles in the BTOB's channel. Thank you for reacting to BTOB. They are a self composing and producing group..and altho they have a diverse discography and have tried all kinds of music..they are much better known as the vocal/ballad kings of Kpop. And all 7 members can sing, rap, dance and play instruments.
With INSANE, yes Chorong of Apink is the girl in the mv. She's a good friend of BTOB and have done some shows and mvs with them.
MISSING YOU is the queen of their songs, earning them 7 music show awards and is still appearing on the charts. It is a sad, beautiful song. And BTOB is known for pouring their hearts out in their songs. They sing with those emotion, whether happy or sad and they pull at the hearts of the listeners.
THE SONG is really a song for their fandom named Melody. It is special not only coz it's for their 10th year but also because it's for their comeback after a 4 yr military hiatus. Since 2018, each member enlisted one by one and the last ones were discharged in Nov of last year. That's why fans are so happy to see them "complete" again (coz they're missing a member now) and BTOB is happy to be back and thankful to the fans who waited patiently and never left them. It's a special song and bond indeed.

If you like old school RnB ballads and mini movies where they act a lot I recommend It’s Okay and Way Back Home. (These two songs earned them the title healing-idols!)
If you like more uptempo: Wow, Beep Beep, Movie, Thriller.
Mid-temp: Only one for me, 2nd Confession, Outsider.
Their b-side tracks are usually many different genres and tempo, so while they have Missing You (ballad) as a title track they have a b-side in the same album called Blowin’ Up which is edm/pop. So when you hear BTOB being titled “ballad-idols”, it’s not completely true. Take your time to get through their discography, it’s so good! There’s something for any mood you’re in! 😆✌️

Few things about the profiles/positions - those are pretty out of date, the only thing updated are their pictures, really. They did a massive switch in 2015 going from a dance group (which wasn't really gaining traction) to a group known for their emotional ballads when they released It's Okay. (But don't be fooled - they do have a *lot* of upbeat dance tracks, which tbh is more my speed of things.)
They don't do a lot of heavy dancing - there's choreography for their songs, but it's not intense, so the 'main dancer' position is ... kind of not there. But it's now Peniel - chosen via a spinning wheel. (I'm dead serious.) But I guess the wheel knew what it was doing - he nailed that dance performance on Kingdom.
Minhyuk has been put in as main rapper since Ilhoon left, and both he and Peniel write their own raps, but Minhyuk will do more vocal parts than Peniel will. He's also created some of BTOB's tracks, but Hyunsik is definitely the producer of the group. He's the one that created Missing You, Only One for Me, The Song, and just... a lot of others. His copyrights are actually insane, not from the quantity, but from how popular they are.
A few other things -
If there's some sexy lyrics, it's probably one of Minhyuk's songs. (Guitar, Whiskey, Blue Moon, etc.) Minhyuk and Peniel both can write some *very* raunchy lyrics, Peniel's more direct while Minhyuk is a bit more poetic.
Peniel's Korean-American, so he didn't have to do military service, so he was Melody's "waiting buddy" while everyone did their military service, and The Song is the first song released after everyone was back. There's also some symbolism of that in the MV for The Song with Peniel walking into the RV where everyone else was, it's like they returned from a trip and Peniel (and Melody) are welcoming them back.
They're all absolutely certifiably fucking nuts. Not one of them is sane, but there's some less crazy members.
They're all very very *very* loud off stage, so adjust volume accordingly.
