Lupe ate Royce’s food. The only thing I wanna hear from Royce is him admitting he got cooked or him going at Lupe until he redeems himself. Which he won’t, so he should be quiet.
It's funny how joe understands why royce would defend the integrity of the group by not doing the 3 man album but he doesn't understand it when Mal stood for the integrity of the podcast when Joe wanted to fire rory
Easy… because Mal has changed his reasoning on why everything went left multiple times. In other words, the reason he left had nothing to do with solidarity and everything to do with trying to force Joe to give into their demands by them now showing up to work. Which is exactly why he was mad at Joe for replacing he and Rory with Ice and Ish. They threw a wrench into his grand plan. Come on… y’all have to pay attention to what’s been going on this past year and change. Mal has proven himself to be a full blown fraud.
@farrellcityking1 mal never changed his stance. He gave more context. Just like joe has been changing why he fired rory. So you too are seeing things when you want to. These fools needed to talk about it when it happened or never talk about it.

Rise and Fall of Slaughterhouse... They didn't even diss them. They told what they feel is the truth and didn't go overboard at all. They didn't attack them and Joe and Royce being sensitive feeling attacked. It's not a diss album, it's Joell and Crook story.
Devil's advocate: WHAT IF the emotion comes from people tearing down something that you helped built, and announcing the end of it without you knowing?
@@NomadNetworkTV that would be valid IF Joe didn't say he was retired AND Royce didn't say he wouldn't do it without Joe. Them announcing it was dead after 10 years of nothing isn't a shock to people.
I love civil discourse. Being able to peacefully agree/disagree is essential. About the Slaughterhouse snafu: It seems to be a lot of "miscommunication" and semantics. Joe telling his audience of millions of listeners that he's never going to rap again but then saying he didn't tell two individuals specifically that, is nuts. He's been adamant about not rapping again for 6+ years and NOW all of a sudden it's a point of contention? C'mon man, don't be that guy. If a woman you liked told 1,000 people that she slept with 100 men, you heard her say this, you tell her you're not talking to her because of that and she retorts with, "When did I tell YOU that I slept with 100 men?" You all would call her crazy. It's horrible semantics. Also, if you're going through a lot in life and that's your reason for not touching bases with people and they make a move on their end from what's been given at face value, you can't fault them. The onus is on the you, not the people constantly trying to receive an audience. Joe saying people that began to disagree with actions aren't fans is wild too. I could love you from the beginning of something and then have a change of heart over the course of time due to your actions, you can't then tell me I never loved you. That's crazy. You also can't think (especially in this day and time), that you could shelf projects for 10+ years and then release to massive approval. It's a clear case of nobody will love your child the way you will. Joell and Crook aren't off the hook either. You can't take a jointly owned intellectual property and run it into the ground without approval from the whole collective, no matter how you may feel about it. The move was heavy-handed and short-sighted. I'm speculating but even if they felt they needed to move this way due to any extenuating circumstances, its still wrong.
If you tell fans you're not rapping....Doesnt mean you're never rapping again. The circumstance might not be conducive for you to rap. So it's not crazy for Joe to tell fans that while leaving the door open for slaughterhouse. Just like Jay-Z is "retired" but still drops music. But he can do it at his leisure...Joe is allowed to do the same without it being twisted by his friends to excuse the shady ish the did with the album and their brand. Crook and Joell are the only ones moving foul in that ordeal !

How can Royce and Joe not understand the frustration of Joell and Crooked? It's been 10 years since their album released. Joe has created a successful podcast that takes a lot of his time and has publicly announced his retirement from rap. Royce is literally best friends with the most successful rap artist *of all time* and therefore always has the opportunity for a Collab album with Em or at the very least features. Shit, Em's even gave Royce production credits on his recent album; financially he is incredibly secure. On top of this, Royce has disagreed the idea of a slaughterhouse trio -- this puts the situation at a deadlock. What do you guys want Joell and Crooked to do? Wait another 10 years? Furthermore, let's not forget Joe's antics when it comes to contracts. He sold out his own homies (Mal and Rory) on this very podcast, so why is he acting like he has an unshakeable integrity? Joe also went back against the Shady deal despite all other members being happy with the terms. And finally, this idea of self-funding would just be a nightmare with Joe ... He'd clearly want the lion share of the deal cos it'll be promoted by his platform. The album was fire. Clearly they had something to say and they were able to package it up with honesty. Royce saying that it was garbage proves that he isn't judging this shit objectively.

But how does Joe think his September 2018 podcast was good for slaughterhouse??? The episode where he went off on Em/Shady records. THAT was a betrayal of the group. That one act blindsided the other group members and ultimately ended the Shady deal.
It is…that’s exactly what it is. Let me give you an example: I’m a dancer. If my crew is hired for a show but one of us walks away from the job while screaming at the director, we all lose our jobs. Of course that dancer has the right to do whatever he/she wants but ultimately it’s detrimental to the rest of the group.
No, I’m sorry, but you’re wrong. If that dancer walks out before the show, it’s the rest of us losing out on the money, obviously, but also the time we all put into rehearsals, possible future jobs because we can’t put this show on our resume and possible future collaborators because now we’re not trustworthy. I seriously doubt Joe advised his fellow SH members that he was planning to have a complete meltdown on his podcast. And please don’t say it’s possible he didn’t know exactly what he was going to say beforehand. That’s what I meant about betrayal. He blindsided the other guys when he did that.

What was the long term vision? What conversations were had to say "Hey Crook and Ortiz" this is what we were thinking the direction should go in? Yes, Joe and 59 are in a great position in life, however when one of your 1st rebuttals is "It was for the money" and tell Ortiz (Joe) your not doing fine in life.. seems a little demeaning.. no pun intended but hypothetically but if four men build a house and its equity in it... Not to say the others are not building anything else.. the others 2 men suppose to wait.. till you guys decide to focus on the hoise again? but I believe the tone within you guys conversations (if its like how you guys speak in this episode) may have been deemed or taking as they are lesser than and nothing moves with out us.. so they made a move. Who's to say, if it was right of wrong. Each of you 4 have your own perspectives. But listening to this Kinda makes me see some of the things Crook was saying.. he never said he was a business mogul.. Crook had nothing but respect for 59.. but it doesnt seem reciprocated.. especially if it's no clear communication.. I would hope EGO didn't destroy your group... and I say that because.. It seems like you guys were all on the same level during the group days.. you 2 elevated to the fans eyes.. so that should give you more say or direction with a 4 man group that's all equally hold 25% a piece? Sometimes ppl have to watch how they react to things.. cause you can often times prove the point the others were making.. indirectly.. The question is, how long were the fans and you guys were going to wait? With you 2 individual success, it seems you guys put that last on the list. And say those two guys wasn't doing good.. those your brothers right? Why wouldn't you do something to help elevate your brothers brands?

Joe and Royce are narcissists that always had holier than thou mentalities. Look at how they spoke to Mickey Factz. They speak well and are both very good at manipulating. So naturally, a lot of people fall for their bs, despite having a history of doing this over and over again.
Funny how Crook and Joell state that Royce and Joe look at them like they aren't equals and then Royce gonna say "sign over your rights and I'm a show you how you 2 would not be missed"... Exactly proving their point🤷🏽♂️
Or it could mean that Royce is willing to do whatever hard work that is needed to keep the Slaughterhouse brand going without them. They said they wanna be done with it and Royce is saying do that legally foreal if you want it out your life.
Exactly!!! And I’m still struggling to understand how Royce is so offended and hurt by Joell and Crook putting out this album but was silent when Joe kept going off on Eminem a few years ago.
@@therobmc18 lol, there was a deal presented, Joe said no and Royce said he ain't doing it without joe, and it's been this way for over a DECADE! That is not destroying the brand??? GTFOH and now they butt hurt that these 2 decided to let the fans know why they haven't got anything from Slaughterhouse this entire time. Where was this energy for the past 10 years? Or even the past year that they got the brand off shady (Joe's request by the way) and he still didn't wanna do shit. He even said in a interview like 3 years ago that once they get off shady he down to put work in but when that time comes you don't
Crook & Joell rapped they ass off on that project, they definitely hating & it definitely riled them up cus no way in hell they gon make Crook seem like he awalk in the park when he used to slaughter them on almost every Slaughterhouse track
Actually what made slaughterhouse so respected was there was no weak links at the time they all were prolific rappers/writers. Damn shame they couldn't of made 2-3 classic albums. Bad business ruined them not there friendships or respect for one another skillset. That BET Cypher still the best till this day!
@@tadah21 wasn't bad business , was bad chemistry and nobody willing to admit it. They where 4 people in a studio and they made 'welcome to our house' themselves and it didn't hit like they thought. You cannot blame anybody for that, royce already said eminem didn't have much to do with the finished project. Joe managed to alienate 2 members and complained throughout his whole time there. People need to accept they just didn't click as a group.
As a longtime fan of slaughterhouse the whole situation is just really disappointing. Tbh I’d given up on the thought of a four man comeback so when I saw this was coming out, it was a mixed bag of being disappointed but also curious. Now further back story is coming out and it seems as if the idea of a comeback was closer then any of us fans knew… just sucks man. Kind of like if they finished the avengers series with them just having a domestic and walking away. 🤦♂️ Not angry, just disappointed. And just a side note: damn right the real fans care about your feelings. Mental health takes precedence over music everyday.
I think Joe saying he was retired is more like “Nobody is getting me to do shit not on my terms.” Since he was in talks about a new album situation, as both sides said. Royce basically saying “wtf y’all coming at me for? I said not without Joe and he didn’t say no to reunion just wanted to know more about the album” Joell and Crook basically saying we needed SH, y’all was dragging your feet. The thing that has me confused about “fans” was at one point Joe was on the pod saying “what Crook is working on might get me to go back in the studio.” So for everyone to be taking a side doesn’t make sense, obviously something about that deal on table went awry that none of us have the clarity on. Yet it is turning into some useless fight.
Exactly. It's weird how everybody just looks at the beef and not what's said before that. You'd see both parties involved are hurt because of miscommunication. If they really wanted it AS BAD they would've talked to each other. But Crook n Joell wanted it more and went out of their way and made it sound like the group was a bother to be in. This shit was planned.
Ive been saying this from the jump. People really be lost in the matrix, you can make people believe anything if you have the public favor, People already feel how they feel about Joe. But Joe is 100% right in his stance. Nobody wanna talk about why Joel and Crook refused to do the album independent and was pushing for a deal when they JUST got out a contract🤔 It doesn't even make sense business wise, especially when you have members of the group that can self fund it.. Nobody wanna talk about how Joel and Crook could've went 90 different ways with they album and release, but they chose the route they took.
Perspective : Joell & Crook basically just threw a live hand grenade into Royce’ house while his 1 year old son (SlaughterHouse) is taking a nap 😴 after he was in just in the hospital ICU clinging to life, forcing the parents to struggle immensely trying to pay for medication, surgery, specialists to nurse him back to health…. And the justification for throwing the grenade was bc no one was picking up the house phone when they called about stopping by… so they thought they were being ignored and took it personally with no proof.

Easy… because Mal has changed his reasoning on why everything went left multiple times. I love civil discourse. Being able to peacefully agree/disagree is essential.
About the Slaughterhouse snafu:
It seems to be a lot of "miscommunication" and semantics.
One of the few people willing to hold all of them accountable...salute to you king. 🤝🏾
I agree with all your takes. But if me and you start a business and I invest all my life savings. You then decide for whatever reason you won't do it again and you have other opportunities to do something else. What happens to my investment and sweat. What if that was the best thing that happened to my career and its eating at me for 10 years. 1 person holding 3 people up. Same way you had a right to freeze my life for 10yrs because you don't honor contracts is the same way I have a right to burn it all down. @@georgeo6654 This was something hammered home when I was in school for Audio Engineering. They kept preaching, "know your contract in and out because there's a thing called "Creative Contracts". There should've been a contingency set in place to deal with a situation like that and if there wasn't, you just have to take it on the chin as bad business and do your best to sidestep something like that moving forward. 59:28 « do you like Crooked’s pants in the video ? « 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Royce a savage
So they were disappointed because the Crook & Joell lacked "spice" lol smfh... If there was more of that spice y'all would've acted butthurt so there is no right in this for you two gentlemen...
Nah they're disappointed that the whole rollout was based around this tension obviously for numbers and attention, only for them to drop some shit that they could have just put out without all the fake beef.
What they mean is clearly that they expected more spice after this whole rollout. Like "the others were burning Slaughterhouse shirts, recording in secret, in case of Crooked throwing his friendship with Royce away and all that for just these few jabs?"
My point is had there been more spice, they would've been disappointed and feel attacked about all that spice.. They would've complained about it regardless...
@@Teddybreezy you're missing the point sir. The entire rollout was bullshit. From the jump this was fucked up. They just shouldn't have did it. Why was all of this necessary? Sounds like The Scapegoat of the family and friend groups.
True true, Royce is the epitome of what most men should be honestly. Cool, calm, collected and educated.
I saw Royce and started screaming like Joe 😭😭😭😭😭😭
IIRC, Slaughterhouse started from beef between Joe and Royce. They decided to throw Crook, Ortiz and Nino on a track to make peace and it just happened to take off for a time. But because Joe found success in this field, and he's viewed as the issue, there's some jealousy there. Plain and simple.

We don't know these answers but what I do know crook has never showed any sign of being a person who snakes someone. Look at his origin story. Every west coast real one respects him and he has earned that for being a certain type of guy. People don't respect him just for his lyrical skills and has earned his stripes. Even Royce said this himself. Listen, you don't just become that type of guy who snakes people not at this time in his life. Ultimately crook needed therapy so he jumped in the booth. @@Clark910x Okay first of all, if SH is all owners then why is there any talk of them not being able to use the logo, secondly this is what always causes the problems, "if we're being transparent" (loool) I think at some point they signed on as partners and as they got bigger Joe became The owner without them knowing and that's what caused all the problems because what should have been a difficult but relatively simple conversation became "Don't come in, I'm in charge, what do you mean you didn't know haven't you been paying attention?", lastly circling back to my initial point whether they're partners or not is irrelevant when you form something and people are coming for the ensemble you'd ride for the ensemble and just so I have this straight let's say tomorrow, Joe says to Ice and Ish AND Parks "You know what, pod seems a little off, take a couple weeks off" and he replaces them with different people, not great but good enough, would you still just ride with the show?

But how does Joe think his September 2018 podcast was good for slaughterhouse??? The episode where he went off on Em/Shady records. THAT was a betrayal of the group. That one act blindsided the other group members and ultimately ended the Shady deal.
Screw the shady deal. They own the masters now. What part of that do you not understand?
Royce said on his live the other day that SH does not own Glasshouse, Shady does. So wtf don’t YOU understand?
I see you people only hear what you wanna hear
Disclaimer: I hope ego didnt ruin your group... Its seems you guys where expecting to Get dissed.. and maybe that wasnt there aim... but In all honesty, If I'm looking at the dynamic of "Friends" or peers.. the way you guys speak about "them" and this project comes off as If its beneath you and that's something cooked said.. he felt that way over the years.. you say 🤔 they didn't have the long term vision but after 10 years if Joe says he is retired and 59 won't rap unless it's all four of you guys..

They could have made an album and not using the slaughterhouse name for clout… they already made an album a couple years ago. They could have did the same thing. And why not call Royce and Joe and let them know something. They wanted the narrative of them being blindsided and wanted the reactions.
@@SoMixedUp like Crook said it’s not like they notify them when they do something
@@LanceG007 🤦🏾♂️ Because when they do something it has nothing to do with Slaughterhouse. Truthfully, he’s shown his hand. Dude is jealous of Joe and Royce being able to not on,y function but thrive outside of the group.
I love Royce….he defo needs a podcast…Mellow joe budden 😂 but facts always given…
He had one with lupe
@pettyjones and it lasted how long before Royce fked the pod up 🤔
@@muhfkajones bro you out here on every comment hating on Royce. If you don’t get yo 40 year old homeless ass on 😂
@@muhfkajones You must meant to say the sensitive Lupe ended it. It had nothing to do with the "beef" they had but Lupe didnt want to do it
Royce wearing the GOAT ring is dope!
When Ish said "12 punk ass thousand dollars", either construction is thriving or he's close to retirement 😅
🤣🤣
