FYI the "Experts" say to dress the mag chuck with it on. This ensures that the chuck is being ground in the same state it will be used in. This provides the most accurate and consistent results as the magnetic pull can slightly effect the surface being ground.
Nice work but It would have been better if you used a coolant when dress a magnetic chuck , because the iron expands with heat and you will not get an precision result.
Thanks for the tip, I am going to add flood coolant to it at some point need to make the splash guard for it in the near future.it was almost .002 out before I did a grind on it. working on making 5 round pucks that I will grind up then place them in corners and 1 in middle then grind them again and check on surface plate.👍

Hi Tom I did regrind the chuck with it on, Both bottom and top, when I checked the first time it was .0025 low on front side.
