iirc, they did actually have Kingdom Hearts themed items at a cafe in disney land to celebrate the release of Kingdom Hearts 3! it'd be a nice little thing to have just for the fans, but i dont think disney really likes KH much since they dont techncially fully own it lmao

@@emmalane3528 the sea salt icecream is kind of a weird case because nomura got the idea to feature it in kh2 because he had it at tokyo disney sea first, but now people associate it so much with kingdom hearts they assume sea salt icecream in anything is a kingdom hearts reference even though it's actually just a real ice cream flavor that existed before KH

There are so many adorably themed cafes and restaurants in Japan and I would love to see even non-Disney/IP ones too! If you’re ever back in Osaka, the cat cafe Save Cat Cafe is all rescued cats from the streets who are adoptable, and the food is cat-themed and its smol but very sweet! Maybe a vlog about a few places in Osaka would suit a clip of that!
Black potatoes and a purple bun, reminds me when Buger King did the scary Whopper. They used Squid ink and food coloring to dye the bun, with the side effect of turning your poop green for days. Which is why Burger King only did it one year.

I used to wish masks would become a thing in the US like it is in Japan when you're sick. Then COVID struck and it's a reality! So seeing as I have obvious power over these things... Please bring themed cafes to my area!

As a huge KH fan, this would have been a dream for me. I have 3 Kh tattoos as well. I have oblivion on my left forearm, sora on my right thigh and a custom scarey realistic shadow on my left calf.

Sora! My guilty pleasure when in Japan is to go to at least 1 themed cafe of a show or game I really love. They are expensive and the first time it is SO confusing! But the memories are worth it for me
I think the sea salt drink could be easily improved by making it a sea salt slushie drink. And add sweetness for sure! It's supposed to be "salty...yet sweet!" They hit the design out of the park though. And I do love that it looks like each meal comes with a little dessert type item. I would definitely love at least a special event Kingdom Hearts area in the US. Like even if it's a once a year thing, I know there are enough people interested in the games and characters that it would go well. They don't need the Final Fantasy characters as I'm sure that licensing would be more complicated, but just have Sora meet and greets and a cafe I would absolutely go for that.
Sora, It was really cool. I think the culture is so interesting there and I haven't been there since I was a kid and as an adult I think it would be really fun.
Also; the charcoal black things in Japan always made me nervous (unless it was squid ink) because charcoal can reduce the effects of any medication youre on (like bc pills- careful ladies!).
Yeah themed pop up cafes food usually isn't fantastic. It mainly focus on visual presentation, not taste itself. It's slightly costly but I'm a sucker for themed cafes. Too bad, I won't be able to go Japan in time for the Kingdom Hearts cafe. And get the rhythm game soon! It's super fun. Sora. 😊
