Alegria's Big Top Push

- Cirque Du Soleil's Alegria has finally got it's Big Top and this video document how the first Big Top Push happened.
The Big Top is white and blue and it take around 75 people to raise!
This is almost a step by step guide to raise a circus tent.
Alegria will be back April 18th 2019 at The Old Port of Montreal.
Thanks to the Alegria cast, techies and everyone else involved, it's an amazing adventure we are on!

The symbolism that the rising of the Alegría big top has, it's like the home of this iconic show was risen for the first time, but again at the same time.

What a beautiful video
Push push push, and the tent was born; greetings to you Anders, the tension and excitement was palpable - but the joy of the completion albeit minus the walls and stage, shone through upon everybody`s faces, both the performers to see the reality of their new home / workplace coming to life, and the techs and construction crew finally getting the cloth up the poles, after a lot of delays and worry.
Alegria is coming to Town, soon!

Anders i miss gymnastics so i want to start again but the reason i stopped was because of the dancing (im really bad at the dancing) so what do i do (i come from denmark like you so mayne you may know a decent springgymnastic team i maybe can start on) btw i love ur videoes and i hope the show is going to be amazing... what do i say of course its gonna be amazing because you are in the show xD
Patrick Mobeck you have two options. 1. Solider through the dancing (it’s not that bad) 2. Find some tumbling and do that (that’s what i did) 😊

I can only imagine the size of the heat generators for that tent. I got to hand it to CANADIANS, I couldn't handle the cold. I can hardly take winters here in DC. Guess I'm a pussy.🤪
