I haven't been downstreaming once since I got this pump. Been using it 6 months now. No issues, I blew that blue piece the 1st day when I was messing with the unloader, but haven't had any issues since. That pump is a game changer, absolutely love it. I had Comet P40 before and d30 easily outperforms it. That extra pressure is great.
You mentioned using the second discharge valve to throttle and prime your pump and shut off the system - do you have any video of this? Or could you elaborate on what you mean by doing this? Thanks!
For those asking I have the regulator set to the second lowest notch. Using the red wash down gun this is the performance results. 145 psi with the trigger pull. 362 psi without the trigger pull.
Your best bet is downstreaming, but that will take longer and multiple applications. Runoffs will be bad. You won’t be able to convert it to a roof pump, but if there’s a will, there’s a way. Best of luck
@@netxpressurewashingservice Wishfull thinking on my part, Thought I could take the pump that's on off of it and put the AR30 on it. It's only a 5.2 HP motor
I have the comet mp30. I keep blowing my relief line. I think I have it plumbed wrong. Can you tell me how everything is supposed to be plumbed. I have my relief line going back into my supply line and not into the inlet side of the pump.
Just got mine installed but need some advice. It's not working right. The line out from pump is pulsating allot and the spray is longer than shorter. I bled the valve like you did but it sputters water out of it like it's not getting enough.
Hey Brent. So simulated the same situation. When it’s pulsating hard like you described, there’s restriction on the suction side. If you are using a manifold, I suggest getting a bigger diameter to accommodate the suction loss. Best of luck my friend.
None so far. I ran out of soap and was drawing in alot of air pump starting cavitating. I made sure I flush hose and pump with bleach neutralizer when washing down
@@sylvestercoles4758 Hey Sylvester. I was doing a job one day and all of sudden the AR-30 started acting up, cavitating. I had to swap pumps immediately because i had a big job. is the ar30 pump the only pump you can use a metering system on or can all pumps be set up to run a metering system instead of down streaming?
Hi Dalton. Yes! There are other pumps that can use metering systems. Air diaphragm system, AR-45, and Comet P-40 that I can think of.
