Such a beautiful speaking voice. Hers and Bob Ross’ are quite soothing.
I love this woman. One of my favorite actresses. Can't wait to see The Post.
The moment in the film when she makes the decision to publish is an entire master class in acting.
Gosh, I really can't understand the hating on here, can only think they must be Trump supporters...

if you have kids don't let them see the post. good story but LOTS of swearing
Meryl Streep is about as good as it gets for an actor but Steven Speilbergs films are sooo Vanilla. His films have no real depth, anger, love, fear, sorrow, or triumph. His films lack Depth in all areas. Ang Lee, Oliver Stone, Alejandro Inarritu, and Clint Eastwood all make films that are much better.
I thought Shchindlers List was very surface.
It lacked the proper depth in many, many scenes. A scene can be built with pacing, dialogue, music, emotion, close-ups, etc. Spielberg lacks talent in these areas. The best poignant scene in Schindlers List was the end/last scene where the groups of people walked in a line through the memorial area which was beautiful, deep, emotional, and shot beautifully.
Robert (Bob) Zemekis is a director who is very good at depth in his movies. Depth that can transform you(If you take it seriously). Flight, Contact, and Cast Away had so much depth to them.
Oliver Stone's World Trade Center (made in 2006) is relentless on an emotional level. The only way to describe the film is "A true story of Courage and Survival". And no it was not a "political" film
I love E.T., Gremlins, Poltergeist, etc. Which I think as a producer or director Speilberg does Very well. But with more serious material he lacks a deep Depth for alot of the serious scenes in his films.
Hopefully Speilberg let the reigns loose on Meryl Streep in this film so she can do her thing. 😊
This movie is colorless, dull and boring... I WASTE OF HARD EARNED MONEY...
Competent as an actor, but out of her league when it comes to political thinking or larger issues in life like the economic policy of nations. Definitely average Jane in that region and should keep her political opinions private and stop preaching to the public.
But equally have the right to speak her mind as you would. She speaks in her circle and so does everyone.
Streep Knew. Such a Hypocrite.
