Reminds me of the kinds of german i grew up on only in the first few years of my life and back then it wasn't exactly common either. Good video and i'm happy that already back then people preached that there is no honor or good in war. Saying you were a soldier doesn't fix your pain and potential loss of limbs. It's better to just greet your neighbour regardless of where they are from. Old wisdom like that should stand the test of time
