ATWT CarJack: 7/28/1999 - Carly's Not Going Anywhere

Carly wakes up after having spent the night with Jack in his house. She almost can't believe it's not a dream. She wanders downstairs and answers the phone when it rings and it's Brad. He's stung that she wasted no time in bunking with Jack (LOL... seriously??? Was there ever really a question about that...) Anyway he says he's heading over to get his money. Carly says that maybe they should wait since Jack will be home soon. However Brad doesn't care and hangs up. Then Emma shows up and tells Carly that she'd better get dressed get out of there before she throws her out. Carly smirks and says that Jack wants her there. Emma can't believe it and Jack walks in and tells her that Carly isn't going anywhere! Jack confirms everything Carly had said and Emma is still in shock. Carly's banker shows up and Carly gives an excuse for why he's there but denies telling them that the money is actually to pay Brad off. Brad then shows up and it's awkward at best. Carly tries to get him to leave but he stays and says that he's got good news. He presents Carly with divorce papers so she can get a quickie divorce and she and Jack can be together. Carly tries to get Jack to come with her but Jack says he's going to Hal and Barbara's engagement party and Carly says she's excited to go and show everyone they're together. Jack says she's really not invited but eventually gives in and says she can come. Brad and Emma eventually leave and there's a cute scene at the end with Carly trying really hard to get along with Emma and Jack teasing her about it.
