Wouldn't a rototiller make more sense? It seems that plowing is a carry-over of old ways from when there was only animal pulling power. Rototilling is a part of the modern age in agriculture. Since we have reciprocating or turning motion available with large amounts of power rototilling can go deeper in one pass producing a ready made quality of tilled ground, with way less human sacrifice. These guys will sleep at night for sure due to the intense workout they're getting but the job is not done. In addition to more time they are not going deep enough and eventually they will develop a "hard pan" that will need to be broken up. ROTO TILL not plow and disc.
