People always have to create fairytales around their idols. John was hardly the adoring, doting husband to Yoko. The stories of his infidelity and public humiliation of Yoko are voluminous. Not that I'm a fan of Yoko's. But, his songs are not who he was. They may reflect a PIECE of him, but they're just songs. John's legend is not who he was.
@@e.l.norton I have absolutely no sympathy for Yoko and think she got what she deserved as she was after all having an affair with John while he was still married to Cynthia - poor Cynthia came home after being away for a couple of weeks only to find Yoko sitting in her home and wearing Cynthia's own dressing gown, gazing in to Lennon's eyes....Yoko and John treated both Cynthia and Julian abominably and Yoko continued to do so even after John died. The truth about Yoko was that she was one of the few people outside the band who stood up to John's more destructive tendencies, and he was well on the way to becoming a much better person when his life was cut short. Someone has likely already mentioned it here, but the guy in the background at 3:54 was Mark David Chapman who shot & killed Lennon 12.8.80. Earlier the same day, Chapman was standing outside the Dakota and held out an album which Lennon took & signed for him. Photographer Paul Goresh captured that moment.
It's heartbreaking how his older son, Julian and his mother, Cynthia Lennon were cast aside.. Julian was a small child when his father left his family behind for Yoko Ono...
The comment section, mostly full of praise for Yoko and the love she and John shared... Shame some of that love couldn't have been extended to Julian when his dad died so he didn't have to go and buy at auction, all the mementos that should have been given him but were refused by Yoko....

from the same album 3 other big hits were "Just like Starting Over" "I'm Losing You" and "Watching the Wheels"
Beautiful song x
People say she's one of the main reasons The Beatles broke up I don't know how true that is and frankly I don't care I think John deserve to be happy and so did she I believe they were soulmates and meant to be together whatever happened because of it you know that woman went into deep Sadness and Sorrow when her husband was taken from her so tragically it affected the entire world imagine how it felt to her😣✌️❣️
Someone has likely already mentioned it here, but the guy in the background at 3:54 was Mark David Chapman who shot & killed Lennon 12.8.80. Earlier the same day, Chapman was standing outside the Dakota and held out an album which Lennon took & signed for him. Photographer Paul Goresh captured that moment.
Just watching you look so happy makes for a nice video!
Respect to you, you are very beautiful and I enjoy your reactions to some of the greatest music ever put to record.....
I'm sure Beautiful Boy still chokes up his son, Sean. 😿
An interesting bit of trivia: before he became famous John Lennon was in a band called the Beatles.
You should react to his son Julian Lennon.. he sounds so much like his dad!
Death do us part, deeply dedicated love combined with human faults! Who am I? to dare question, John's Muse (how much should one dignified Woman endure? obviously, as much as the 'press' and others could possibly to dish out. She's still standing! (Although now more time in a wheelchair) Please keep exploring this Fab world. Thanks, Peace n Love
Beautiful song. That's all I'll say about this.
And most likely. The Beatles would have did a concert together. And it would have been amazing thing for music 🎶 for everyone
He also wrote a beautiful song about his son Sean...
JOHN LENNON "BEAUTIFUL BOY" & "HOLD ON"
