I will like to be honored to die in the pit when that breakdown hits
me too
there will be a massacre
Saw them live and they played this song before it got even released and we all died in the pit!
I saw them live and almost died. 10/10 would do it again
@@maddyfelsing6982 when and where did you see em? I was their riffhouse Virginia show. Shit was amazingly brutal.

3:26 omg that face, pure feeling when you don't get the breakdown you wish for
Егор Бешенов when you’re playing Minecraft and mom says come help me bring in the groceries lmao
Да, а потом ещё оправдывает неожиданностью)
Смешно на**й стало😂
3:57 when you get it and you lose it
3:26 when you didn't get what you want for your birthday
Yeah *I'VE BEEN FOLLOWING THIS BAND FOR QUITE SOMETIME* - Nik every reaction video
Someone has to write their riffs, right?
I'm pretty sure Nik came several times watching this.
@@bean_soup2.0I mean he did also it dried up pretty quickly
They just played in tampa on oct 19, I'm furious I didint hear about it, didint see the ad to see them on tour till just now..💊💉👽☠⚰
HAHA man that was so fun watching your reaction bc mine was identical. Going to see them in a month. Can’t wait to break my face.
Gun Drummer have fun man! It’s a great time. Alex’s vocals are absolutely insane live. Make you wanna year off the head next to you lol
Same here my dude. Im excited to see how many people are gonna leave in body bags
@Gun Drummer where did you see them bro? I just saw your video to, that was awesome, I missed them when they came to Tampa
bro i just checked out your youtube channel and you earnt a subscription that's the most american thing i've ever seen lmao, how was the concert by the way?!

3:57 all of our reactions😂😂
Haha😂
Yes I when I heard it I was like "that's just disgusting "
Like jesus christ lol
And the other one right before the second solo
Ooohhhh fuccckssss... gahahahha
"I wanna know if you touch the dark"
THESES VOCALS ARE JUST AMAZINGS
I mean I'm sure we'd all react the same when a demon possess the vocalist for like 3 seconds
The part where his horns fire up really caught me off guard
Matt V what part
@@jacktorrence301 4:00
Right? I had to rewind that a few times to make sure I was seeing it right xD
I love the part where it goes "I wanna know if you touch the dark"
"oohhh kids are gonna die in the pit when this happens" lol well said 😂😂
@@Space6Ghost6Killa6 damn you edgy huh?
It will be a massacre
Laughed so hard my neighbors went to check on me, I'd love to go to a show of theirs, it's fuckin lit!
Still, the ONLY reaction channel that ACTUALLY reacts to music.
No? 😂
Agreed
Not really
I like he doesn't stop it every 3 seconds
I listened to a song before Nik showed me the song. Didn't know that was possible
Same 😂
Same
Right, is he losing his touch !?!?
Same
impossible, because he has been following this band for some time
Nik: "i think this sounds like emmure"
Me: "wait what?"
Nik: "just that one part"
Me: "oh okay"
jimmy Rivers literally the same reaction
Emmure is top tier just like slaughter to prevail

@@stansfield4163 you shutthefuckup no one asked you
Literally me lmao but then the just that part validated it bcuz it was literally that part for 4 seconds lol
4:05 Nik officially has mind blown
I like this new style Alex is doing. Very similar to Emmure. Excited for more Slaughter To Prevail.
I am so excited for more STP. This song felt almost perfect for me but was thrown off by the solos and lack of next level heavy breakdown when I wanted it
8:51 you're welcome
Haha thanks!
Didn't know I needed that. I'm glad I learnt something today.
wullbluublubwulubbla.
WallllLlllo WaLLLlllLo
It gets funnier the more you watch it over and over 🤣🤣 somebody loop that shit
THIS is how a reaction should be. Very solid. Thanks for the content man.
To put it direct..... I enjoyed the changes with the song. I thought the solo being bare bones was a rather neat atmosphere. I also thought the sweeps at the end of the song kinda fit, just like the solo. It's nice when all the members are going at it, so to speak. In my view though, the lack of any other depth (for support or added color) behind those 2 sections..... almost conveys the darkness of the lyrics, but also the simplicity. As in, if they are what you need to hear because you'll maybe feel attacked, lol.... then wake up..... but if they're what you needed to hear to feel like you can relate..... then, there's some surely needed personal vindication.
The atmosphere was extremely awesome during the verses, where the drummer was on toms and some cymbal flavor..... the "slipknot talking verse".... haha.
After the intro, I feel like, it'd be impossible to keep getting more brutal/heavy. I loved the structure of this songs back & forth/up & down of the brutal/heavy dynamic. The pacing if each section I thought was pretty good.... the solo surprised me, and I thought it was perfectly placed.... as Nik put it sorta.... got brutal, backed off, then got heavier, backed off, then resolved in a major way. It's key, (on some level) to everything in life, it seems. Can't know the true brutality of a breakdown, (that you can TELL is gonna be nothing short of "iconic.") without the lows in a song.
I lover the vocal experimentation majorly. Those deep almost.... whisper screams it sounded like. Crazy. And the second time he says the "want to know if you stand, with ME" line, and speaks HIGH pitched.... lol.
Never listened to them much, until i found this song. The lyrics are incredible in my opinion.
I'm also not a pro, or worthy of high praise, I just like to analyze music and am passionate about it. I wouldn't presume to challenge Niks skills and wide perception, nor would i wanna. I just like to talk shop from an "emotional/other feels" angle, so to speak..... and from a middle weight musicians' (guitar and mainly drums) experience. If I was a high level listener and player, I'd have a nice resume and start a UA-cam channel.
It’s a legendary song!
This band is gold change my mind
4:19 sent chills through me. God damn
Those whisper-growls he was doing, damn. Been listening to metal for 15 years and I can't recall any band doing that.
Me: sneaks up behind my enemy and snaps their neck
Everyone else at the lazer-tag arena : 3:28
😂😂 Bruh this comment had me dead
He said: 😐
Breakdownnnn
Nik: whispers *_"Jesus..."_*
😂😂
Not quite
this whispering fit very well there tho
That voice is ridiculous🔥🔥🔥
Slaughter to Prevail cool brutal group ever 💯💯💯💯
Alex is by far my favourite screamer in all of metal. He is such a good performer and such a badass, I love how he starts lines by singing them and the turning into a demon
4:18 the sentence that just explains all the video :)
A beautiful piece. My neighbors told me to turn it up.
Am I the only one who got King 810, Slipknot, Coal Chamber, Emmure and Parkway Drive vibes?! 🤘🏻
David Welker and Korn. And Slipknot
Got Queen and A-ha vibes from this
I got nirvana vibes
@@sergeisukhorukov2971 Do you have a license to carry those vibes
King 810 is not a real band
Your reactions perfectly captured the feelings I had deep in my soul the first time I heard it.
This song is crushing. RIP future kids.
My band, A Taste Of War, had the pleasure of opening for them a few years back in Indianapolis. Amazing band and an incredible group of guys, even though they're terrifying in person haha
you dont notice the bass because he matches with the drummer so perfectly. they are one sound almost.
I cannot stop listening to this song. The breakdown makes a very Joker-like grin from ear to ear appear.
It seriously looked like he messed himself when the breakdown hit 😂
When you expect a Breakdown but get a Solo in stead
I think the band Chamber has some of the heaviest riffs, also the band Orthodox. Orthodox is monstrous.
Legit got this recommended to me today so i listened to it, and mid song i was like 'maan this is something nik should make a reaction to' LMAO
Чисто лучшая реакция. Ну и Шишколай красава
Шишка как всегда на высоте
3:25 *filthy face Nik* Let's go
A second later
(._.)
3:59 and then he nuts
Bro Metal is the best shut out there, it massages my ears and brain, everything, this band always gives me those chills and sometimes I sweat, it's so good.
sounds a bit like Emmure, but heavier :D
love it
edit: omg Nick even said it sounds like Emmure in 2:09, didn't notice
Emmure is weak
Demon666 your mom was weak yesterday
@@filooo789 lmao
you made me listen to this band man.. you are awesome
loved how you matched just about every metal heads reaction perfectly
This song was amazing and the video was really cool to another great reaction as always nick keep up the awesome work also I agree with you that kids will die in the pit to this song
i love this song so much, im practicing my vocals so i can do a cover for this
3:54...... your face at that point! Hahaha. Priceless!!! But that breakdown... how can you not. Brutal is an understatement!
Top review, too. I enjoyed how you broke the whole song right down and assessed it all.
The lyrics are actually pretty fucking wholesome though
Thanks for such a detailed reaction
The solo is a good circle pit starter, a warm-up might I say for the intense moshing that comes afterward
I love the new intro song Nik!
I really like this song...it throws you right off...right when you think the break down is gonna happen and you get a soft solo...Then it just slams!! For me this song should get the slamming death core tag...
That gold mask looks like a Snapchat filter
check alex's instagram that mask is real
DioM RUS no fucking shit, u know he’s just saying it looks like one right?
You can actually buy one. They are expensive though
u need to take a break from snapchat man.
@@suizidschlumpf2 I hardly use it, I'm just saying it looks like a filter
I'm actually gonna be seeing them live in New Hampshire (yeah my home state, the place no one ever goes too) I'm so hyped!!
Oh yeah you win a one Brazillian Subscriber man hahaha Slaughter to prevail is a fucking awesome band
holyfck i love this song so much! that ending is so sick!
I got to see this live a few months ago!!!! I can tell this is everything u could wish for in the pit. Drummer is fuckin insane
React to the new despised icon!
I actually really love what they did in this song
It’s that snare sound that is super clean
I would love to see STP live again. Last time I went they preformed with Whitechapel and Océano. The wall of death was pretty dank.
Don’t make me eat your first born
Love this song and this band
Should play it during a wedding in church
Yes. Hell I'll play it at mine if you want
Funeral. Lol
all i need is a metalhead gf and this'll be our first dance
@Crush how is it inappropriate?
I was listening to Slipknot's Iowa album and this got recommended. My friend thats not even into deathcore (hes is a numetal guy mainly) loved it. It was great!
I love your reaction hahaha
It’s called sweeping.. The solo thing you’re talking about. It’s meant not to have any space cause it’s just THAT fucking brutal..
Can u make a guitar cover of dis masterpiece, Nik? Please. Its gonna be sm brutal.
I can't really enjoy deathcore but your reaction is pure gold when the breakdown drops. Made my day.
this is my favourite song atm
3:18 "This better be fucking smashing." Calm down Nigel Thornberry. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah baby
Just saw them live for the second time fucking amazing band
And people do die in the pits when they play
I played with these guys at Metal in the Mountains 2019. They are fucking insane. And yea the pits were nuts!
This got me so pumped that I immidialty ran to the kitchen sliced a lemon in half and squeezed them into my eyes!! Fuk n badass song!!
His face expressions when he says okay it's fucking priceless 🤣🤘🏻
In fucking sane!!! Awesome 👍
never heard about this band before... great away to get introduced into it
That was stressful damn!
I just saw these guys live
Thanks!!
They are playing a TINY venue in my town in October... I’ll let you know how many casualties there are in the pit 😈🤘
Hey Nik, can you do a review of the Jammy Guitar?
I fucking love your reactions!! Hahaha.

Love it! Please do a reaction to NeObliviscaris intra Venus!!!
This is fire 🔥 video
I fucking cried, this was amazing
He went brutal to chill so everyone in the pit can clear the dead! X_x
Agree with all of the critiques 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I would love for you to do a deathcore song for the channel to further illustrate your thoughts and ideas on what would be unique in the sub genre
If I ever get famous, my stage name will be alex horrible... just kidding. This is amazing and I’m seeing them in Frederick
They just performed at richmond va canal club and me and about 4 others did die in the pit
why did i laught when he said " kids are gonna die in the pit " xdd....
Hell I had a full blown Joker grin on my face at that time
4:16 - the face of pure joy
I thought 4:32 "jesus" was actually part of the song until I realised it was nik.
Realizing this song is already 4 years old honestly blows my mind
Just saw them in Columbia sc. pit was wild but everyone managed to survive 🤘
Nice!.
This song kicks ass live sadly there wasnt a much of out because not a lot of people were at the show when I saw them because Whitechapel was also playing in town that same night but still an amazing show
Nik I want you to react to a bad named Fault Lines. They’re in the local scene where I live and have played along side sevendust and a few other bands. They’re amazing and I know they’re going places. The two songs I would recommend would either be New You or Drop Out. I think it’d be cool and no this isn’t my band, I just thought it was recommendation worthy
The new Infant Annihilator album just dropped. Too amazing!
That sike out build up for a breakdown still left me with blue balls!
I prevail should tour with them it would be awesome
