Was amazing to be there. The video does not do justice to the amount of people that were there and how much fun we had with the millions of candles they passed out, at one point we had cases of candles and stuck them in the muddy ground and made a miles long peace sign . Though people here in the comments are sort of correct how this song ended the festival. Bjork was scheduled to play she had a problem with her flights and instead of cancelling she showed up and started playing around 2am monday morning on a makeshift stage. Bjork ended woodstock 94 and it was awesome.
Hard to believe it's been almost 30 years since that performance.

Woodstock 94 ended with this song, while Woodstock 99 ended with RHCP singing "Fire" and the crowd tearing up the air force base where Woodstock 99 was.
As a Woodstock 94 attendee who just watched Trainwreck about 99 you stole the words out of my mind.
@@erin8205 I was there in '94 as well, with my brother Jay (R.I.P. 2000). It was such a good vibe, peaceful, fun, everybody just there to soak it up and enjoy - together. When I saw what happened in '99 I was saddened and sickened.

One of the most incredible experiences of my life (pre children/marriage) was handing out candles for this performance. I wouldn't do it justice if I described it, if you did the same, you know. ✌🏼

It is hard too release, that Biko for South Africa has been died, and Mandela has not done his work, he only used it. I'm glad to read that other peopels in this world, almost thinking on Biko. Peter had done this for ever.
