I’ve been iracing now for over a year and following many you tubers. I would like to let you know that you have definitely become one of my favourites. Your videos are straight to the point and it does what it says on the tin. I hope you have every bit of success that you definitely deserve. Keep that content coming.
This was the first track i had to learn last season when i first got into iracing for my first races in the ferrari great track few places you can be rear ended but not to bad good track to gain sr great vid mate as always
Hello Dave. Just an FYI I live 45 min away from this track. MIDOHIO in Lexington Ohio. Awesome Natural terrain track I've met Mario Andretti right there on the Pit exit
4:28 That's where I usually lay out my blanket to watch races. You can see the whole esses complex from the end of the back straight to the beginning of thunder alley from that hillside.
Hi Dave, Enjoy your channel immensely! I always check out your "Get to know" vids before I race on a new track!! I just bought Mid Ohio, and learned a few tips from your vid already! I think having a "track Map" app running when you do these videos would help the new guys picture where you are on the course when you are explaining the line you are running!!
Great job again Dave. I haven’t driven this track yet, only just purchased it. IMSA is gong to be a challenge this week. Can’t be worse than Laguna Seca though.
Still constantly over driving the car really need to slow it down to go faster i think. as my tires make so much more noise around this track and im not breaking 1:20
I’m just getting into sim racing.. live in Ohio and am doing a high performance driving course there in July. Hoping this will help me a lot for real world performance!
Another excellent guide. These are now my 'go-to' track guides. Just right.
Currently practicing at 1:20. Let's see how much the guide helps...

Thank you Kevin, really appreciate that 👊

Man, I'd love to live near such a cool track
Your smoothness under braking and corner entry blow me away. Great guide!
Great video Dave, really helping the community! Saves me a lot of time figuring out myself
Thank you!
Your track guides really help me
One of the best streamers out there!

Insanely useful video mate. Bumped my (M8 GTE) times down to 1.19,5 within the first 10 minutes of practice!
Awesome. Thanks for the feedback 😁
I can't say it enough: Dave is the man.
My dad learned to race on the mid ohio school like 30-40 years ago
Muchas gracias amigo, it was a great tutorial ¡ hope to see you on track soon¡

cheers dave!
Helps with the current IMSA season as well 👍
Hi Dave - what simulator setup are you using?
Great job again Dave. I haven’t driven this track yet, only just purchased it. IMSA is gong to be a challenge this week. Can’t be worse than Laguna Seca though.
Yeah Laguna was a nightmare. I didn't do it in a GTE. The GT3 was bad enough!
Still constantly over driving the car really need to slow it down to go faster i think. as my tires make so much more noise around this track and im not breaking 1:20
Thanks Dave - turns out you are worth 2 seconds! Now running mid 18s.

@@JusttDavee went great, it was a huge help in learning the track
It Sound be awesome if you would include the different Layouts of the Track, still a very good Job Mate
Video is very helpful but After 30+ lap I stuck at 1:19:9
Do you use baseline setup or it is modified?
It's a paid setup from Craig Setup Shop 👍
Why you change from the m8 ? Any special reason?
No, not really. The Ferrari seems more popular so just wanted to make it as relevant as possible 👍
@@davecamyt understand
Managed to qualify with a 1:18.9 hahahahaha after my horrible first lap. Lol
