My goodness I am sooo grateful! Thank you! I loved decorating it so much and am happy to hear it looks good haha. And hey if you're out in Hawaii I def would! I also did one of my gf's room and she loved it.
Hey It looks so amazing and "expensive" in a good way. I just get here I have questions: 1) when u go deployment where you put all your belongings? 2) how long took you to built your room 3) did u also get this nasty dirty carpet? 4) for you how much is a reasonable budget to built the room
This is beautiful! When I join, I’ve been thinking of ways to decor my future barracks room too because I love home decorating! Is it common to have your own barracks room while stationed in Hawaii?
Thank you, I truly appreciate it. And that's great, plenty of my friends also have done up rooms in the barracks, it definitely makes smaller spaces much more livable and personalized.
@@daniellelisman Yes when you're shore or DIRSUP you will get a room as soon as move onto base; however depending on your building you'll have a roommate within the actual same room as you OR you'll have a roommate like mine where we share a common are and bathroom but have our own bedrooms.
I shipped only 2 or 3 small things (my elephant and like 2 other things on my desk) and bought basically everything else in Hawaii (mainly from Ross haha)
YESSSS GIRLLLLL !! I found it at... Target (I think, pretty sure) and I've literally never lit it, because i just love the look and would rather just keep it as decor!
So i've seen centipedes on other floors and I did see one roach in my room when I first moved in, but after a deep clean never saw one again. I will say the first floors gets soooo many more bugs than others and my room is on the 3rd so I get saved from a lot more headache. Also no, I have never seen a snake or scorpion here. Not in the actual room buildings. Out in town I think of course ants are a regular and centipedes and roaches sadly
I believe my building is for E4 and up, but depending on what's open they sometimes place E3 and below into rooms or buildings meant for other pay grades.
Why do you have to cook? Go to the chow hall, it’s free. You got way too much sheet evidently your rate does not go to sea on ships cause you ain’t taking all his crap with you
Your room is by far the prettiest I’ve seen so far.
Thank you!!

This was so cute. This makes me even more excited to get to the fleet. Hopefully I’m stationed in Hawaii too ❤️

Edgar navy barrack room tour
Do you get snakes or scorpions or roaches or centipedes inside the dorms there? I have no idea how bad bugs are in hawaii

I definitely would but out chow hall is closed, so we just get BAS and it’s so much cheaper to cook than eat out every meal!
Can opposite sex spend the night with you?
