you can tell that they are really close whilst still being able to have a laugh & take the piss out of eachother - it’s such a perfect balance to watch onscreen
The combo works so well, because being so posh you'd expect Michael to be dignified, easily offended and distant with his son. Instead he's raunchy, loves his fame and openly adores Jack.

I love that Jack has brought his dad in more and more as his career has burgeoned. Obviously they’re very funny together. But even more than that it’s Jack saying thank you. Thank you for raising me with love and laughter, thanks for taking the piss out of me with a joke rather than yelling, thanks for being so genuinely proud of your son that you want to share in his life as much as you can.

Michael is hilarious... He reminds me of my Dad. Even though Michael is an Englishman and my Dad is an American southerner, my Dad is quite the gentleman, with a very dignified personality, and a hilarious, yet dry, sense of humor. We communicate very similarly to Michael and Jack.

As American this is my order of preference, Graham Norton, Alan Carr (please come back!), Jonathan Ross, and all other British interview shows...then James Corden, Conan, Kimmel, Noah, Colbert and maybe Fallon.
I think the a British and Irish know how to banter and socialize. There’s an exchange or conversation. Far more superior. Plus the humor and wit is more interesting and stimulating. The delivery is far more natural. Keep up the great work.
