What is Blended Learning?

Ysleta ISD has two campuses that are in year-one of implementing blended learning: Pasodale and Ysleta Elementary Schools. Blended learning aims to meet the instructional needs of students by personalizing based on data, and interest. It also includes some student choice over path, place and pace. The principals at these two elementary schools, David Medina and Norma Corral, along with several teachers share critical elements of blended learning. The foundational pillars are assessment and data, classroom culture, student agency, and instructional rigor.
