Great clip. I really enjoyed the Grand Masters running commentary too. Maybe it's too much projection from a short clip but I am pretty sure this is a redo of an old, but very good, Chinese movie whose name I've forgotten. It pretty much reiterates a scene where the Grand Master is attacked by someone he trusts but then teaches Tai Chi on the spot to a young person who has acquired kung fu superpowers and learning skills but used to be unable to practice martial arts because of an attack when he was a child. Maybe both are based on a novel. EDIT: The film was Kung Fu Cult Master1993 starring Jet Li. There was a second film Kung Fu Cult Master 2 which I never saw. Hope someone uploads it.
The martial arts novel by Jin Yong is called Heavenly Sword And Dragon Slaying Sabre, which has been remade into a TV series 9 times (in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Beijing) and movies. It is like a Chinese version of a Shakespearean play.

The movie I saw however ended on a scene that corresponds to this one and as far as I know there was no follow up. Much as I enjoyed it, it left one wanting more. Back in those days there was no UA-cam and probably no DVDs so good kung fu movies were hard to come by. Not to be snobby but I think I'd be likely to compare this with something like Robin Hood than Shakespeare.
The MC actually learned a powerful kungfu while healing, kinda like a photographic memory akin to Taskmaster from Marvel comics. With it, he can basically learn any kungfu skill just by merely watching or sparring.
The core is forget and forget and forget all. This means ikuti gerskan lawan sekemampuanya tanoa harus ingat jurus apapun. Alamiah, not jurus yg membuat kaku gerakan dgn segala aturan.
I really want to see n practice silat or kungfu for my experience rich. How to held movie like this. Iwant to see move kungfu. As often as Tiongkok show. How to pay it. Like n hobby much. Be come real as black n white. So i hv connect with defend of self art. I want s be student of this.
The old guy has amazing skills even after getting blasted in the chest. I can tell the enemy girl is a woman scorned. That said she's super pretty as well. I'm sure he'll get more than just paste from her!
