i am not sure why some folks troll Shawn's videos just to make mean comments. This man is excellant live and he is very respectful of Elvis & his memory. He is extremely talented, he has so many of the backup groups & other associated with Elvis who sing with him or endorse him ( the Sweet Inspirations, the Blackwoods, the Stamps, DJ Fontana, Joe Esposito, Jerry Schilling, the Imperials, etc.) and are behind him 100%. If they did not believe in his talent and his sincerity they would not be sharing a stage with him or endorsing him. You are all entitled to like one of any of the numerous other ETA's out there rather than Shawn, but you don't have to make evil comments or dumb ones like Elvis had longer fingers! Um, he can't change his hands! Seriously? No, he is not Elvis. No one ever will be. Shawn is just a very talented, nice, funny guy who loves Elvis and is damn good at paying tribute to him. He will never look or sound exactly like Elvis. No one will, but he is so close it is eery sometimes. Many songs including this one are so close to Elvis it is crazy. He has a huge following, so go watch your other guys and stop making snide comments.

He has been touring for years. Not lately due to Covid, of course, but he tours most of the year normally. He even goes overseas twice a year for several shows each trip. Something Elvis never did so they really go nuts over there when he & the gang go over! When things are normal again check his website or his fb page for a schedule.
It's so refreshing to find there are people who, like me, prefer the original BEST singer in the world. I have Elvis CD's in my car and love his voice. I have concerts I can watch and see the main man. No stick on sideburns or fake hair (and yes Shawn does wear a wig and used to colour in his sideburns with mascara. He prefers the stick on ones now. Listening to My Boy is in no way even coming close to the BEST singer in the world.

I've honestly never heard ANY impersonators who have the kings voice. Nobody comes close. Elvis had a far better vocal range than anyone I've seen. Shawn is a good singer but doesn't sound like Elvis and I listen to Elvis all the time. Elvis was a FANTASTIC singer - let's not start comparing an impersonation to the real thing.

I saw him arrive, I saw him in the hallways and the elevator and the hotel restaurant/bar. I talked to him several times. He was not in what I refer to as "Elvis mode" at all. He talked more with his Pennsylvania accent, he had on jeans & a sweater and motorcycle boots. He acted nothing like Elvis. The only thing still like Elvis about him was the hair (which was not styled like Elvis') and the sideburns. Can't do much about that since they are real; other than that he was very much Shawn. Yes, he is very humble and funny and sweet. He loves people and treats everyone like they are special like Elvis did, but Elvis did not have the market cornered on those traits. I can assure you Shawn knows who he is. He is very respectful of Elvis and he has his own personality and life. He has children. Why everyone thinks he "plays" Elvis 24/7 like some nut case I do not know, but he doesn't and he does not think he is Elvis by any means. If he did I would despise him and I certainly would not go to his shows. He is an extremely talented man who works hard to give us all a taste of what we lost way too soon. He does an amazing, heartfelt tribute to Elvis and there is no one who can do it better.

He unnaturally continues to try and be Elvis. I sing Elvis songs (and others) but would never pass myself off as being anywhere in Elvis's league and would never dress like him. I love Elvis and his music and choose to sing it in my own voice. I know there was only one King and to act like you are him, 24-7, is seriously sad.
