Hey guys i really enjoy watching your videos im from germany (Frankfurt) and i'd say your moves would drop in like a bomb here. Your style is so impressive and looks like a full body workout. Id rly like to skate with you guys but there are some miles between us :D Keep up the good work. I'm trying to learn to freestyle like you guys can, but my local rink is a little strict about certain moves.
+Prince • Hey Prince, we completely understand, it seems to be the problem for most freestyle ice skaters around the world who are trying to train. Best way is to avoid those rinks and find an unsupervised rink or even go to a pond/lake, but make sure it's safe :) Best of luck!

What model of Bauer Supreme Skates are you guys using? I have just ordered a pair of Bauer X500's as im just getting back into skating after some years off the ice.
We are using Bauer Supreme s160/s170. Any Bauer skates will do just fine. It is solely on preference.
Toronto Ice Skate Group hey thanks for the reply, i have been looking for skates to fit my feet and have been struggling big time, bought a couple of pairs of CCMTacks, had to return them in exchange for a pair of Bauer X500's to which i also had no joy with as they were causing both my feet to cramp up so returned them and went to another shop and got a much bettet service and they have told me that i will be better suited in the S170s so i will hopefully be back in the ice in the next few weeks cramp free and comfortable!!!

How much did it cost to get your skates sharpened? And can you make a tutorial on how to do a hockey stop
+Hussam Sulaiman Hey Hussam, skate sharpening is around $5 at sports check, we'll try to make a spray stop tutorial but it will be different to a hockey stop, as there's already video tutorials for it.

We warn up by doing the basics, including maneuvers and breaks.

Valentin He Good question! Everything is definitely on purpose, every move has a name and is written on our MoveSet book. Although it seems like breakdancing, Ice Breaking is totally different than breakdancing. Most of the moves were inspired from breakdancing moves. However, the execution is completely different.

how often do you sharpen your skates.
A newly sharpened blade with 100/75 cut usually dulls out after 4-5 sessions. So ideally, we would sharpen our skates once a week.

Why you think break dance on ice is ice skating? Wasn't that Ice skate freestyle you call you are doing? Laying on ice is even banned in figure skating... because it's not skating. I mean you coul breakdance in scooba divers equipment and call that scooba freestyle?

I'm sorry to break this news to you guys but youre level of skate control is of an advanced beginner figure skater. I should know because I'm a hockey skater that can do much more than you guys but I do not compare to the figure skaters who really know how to skate but get very little credit on social media for it.
