There’s a reason why the devs didn’t make the game like this. It’s because this is insanely unbalanced against the player, which was the point, but still. Just because a lot of Touhou fans play Terraria doesn’t mean the game needs to be like that.
I’ve been playing through infernum and it’s amazing. It would have to be nerfed to oblivion to even be close to master mode difficulty in terms of bosses however, since the mod has non consumable boss summons and the moon lord took me like 30 attempts.

In my opinion, master mode does make sense. You get the extra attacks/phases that you have in expert mode, but you have to endure for longer because of the added health, while at the same time it's harder to endure for longer because of the increased damage
@@АльбионФармер Maybe it is, but Expert mode does add difficulty in other ways and that's why Master mode is fine too imo. Yeah it makes sense but I think most people were kinda just expecting Master to give the Post-HM bosses the same treatment that Expert gave to the Pre-HM bosses, at least that’s what I was hoping for when I heard that Master was being added, like the Pre-HM bosses get at least one new gimmick that forces you to change your strategy, but with Post-HM it’s just kinda “do same thing but more” which isn’t a bad thing but it just could’ve been better
if you ever do the calamity bosses in this mod please turn on the infernum mode boss bar as it shows the phases, also you skipped a couple of bosses phases in this video because you didnt realize there were more with the vanilla boss bar

If you are bad at Terraria like me you can still play Infernum mode and experience these amazing improved fights by using with some other mods to make it less insanely hard, like Block's Leveling Mod, Weapon Augments (maybe tweak these two a bit so that they don't buff you too much... or don't, idk), More Accessory Slots (with as few or as many extra slots as needed, as that can be configured), and some of the options from UnNerfs Calamity, like removing defense damage, for example.

i have an incredibly stingy opinion on this obviously very high effort mod.
