It's funny I don't really play WOT anymore, but i still have to watch Skill every day. 😅
In my opinion, you can still play low tiers and have TONS of fun. I know, because as a veteran WoT player, I am sick of High-tier games, and I stick to tiers up to 6-7 maximum. 8+ is just sickening, unless you want to play your casual premium for extra credits! But my personal favourite tiers are 3-5 - lol 😂

@@wotaddictglobal I feeling well when I am playing 9 tier but it's because my crew is experienced, I am using equipment, I have more experience with higher tier tanks because I have to play more to max out the tanks, I have to make a money to buy next tier, research all modules for the tanks. I like this feeling of dealing more damage. It's satisfying for me. Unfortunately I have never get the opportunity to b6ut X tier tank because I have never could afford it.

I am a tank collector and I currently have about 600 of them, but I rarely play the high tiers (9 and 10). Whenever I need credits, I play tier 6-8 premium tanks, and even in a loss, I get lots of cash!

Never was that good, at least not comparable to stupidities lately like bz. Gun handling was always shit so youd just bounce things and barely output damage until you got flanked by the enemies because your team melts around you

Played this with the level 2 experimental equipment and It really helps, the combined reduced aim time with reduced dispersion combined with improved aiming and bond vents and its actually hitting most of its shots.
I am glad that at least one person other than myself finds this change to be good!!! I love the new equipment 🙂
@wotaddictglobal the only issue I have is I want to use it on a lot of different tanks, I think It will be almost a requirement for 3 marking sone tanks and may become a clan wars requirement which eoild mean spending a lot of components demounting equipment, if feels like there will be alot of grinding missions to stay competitive.

To me it was a no-brainer to buy this offer. I love the IS-7 tree and this tank is very similar. Snap like a mad baboon and when you are aiming be the incarnation of patience itself. Armour is made of thorium. I like it.
Defender is a LEGEND, i didn’t play it last 2 years but i have 4K battles with this tank , all crew from heavy russian tech tree grow on this tank !!! Now he is chill in garage wait
My 2 builds are vents, rammer and vert stabs, or vents, improved aiming and vert stabs. The second build is the best overall I've found, combining vents and improved aiming.
252u will allways be special to me because it is the only tier 8 i did 10k dmg in, and that game i hit 28 out of 28 shots

The funny thing is that defender works close or being still and sniping xD
I personally have just enjoyed with HP, turbo and the aiming device. Just going close almost no matter what and well, I am just a speed enjoyer. I hate chasing the last damage and being too slow.
Of course its not the best and certain way not the most enjoyable, but the performance is still 3rd of my premium heavy tanks. Only WZ-176 and Skoda ahead so...
power creep is real,remember when everyone complained that this thing was OP? Its not bad by any means now but with skoda t56 and bz in the game?

Well atleast you can pen defender on its 2 cupola skoda t56 as well even in hulldown but the BZ when u dont have 121+ caliber or heats u cant pen that mofo especially when hulldown. They say its derpy gun handling? I think not i snap my shots with it and it hits even without food

Hey skill, for better gun handling u can also use triple stabilizer with the new experimental equipment. It makes tanks like defender and t57 heavy almost straight up broken. Not gonna have dpm or view range tho, but thats a sacrafice to be made
its not sustainable what do i mean, how many people would use bond equipment, and maxed out experimental equipment? its just to play arround on test account, nothing more then that

It is still op. When people say what is people going to do in their tier 6 tanks vs bz... What are they suposed to do against this monster? The armor is idiot proof on this beast of a tank. Little bit like is6 remember that one? A tank that has been in game literaly forever. Its not like op armor is a new thing. Its been a thing for as long as i can remember.
People complained that the upper plate is autobounce even on tier X rounds.
This comment made me getting it from the Bond shop, and i have no regrets. Needed a Russian heavy T8 for crew training. (churchill 3, is the best for that).
But this, actually stupid mission for a crew member, bounce 3 times 55k made me buy it.
It's not the best tank, but like you say idiot proof. They bounce a lot on me :), so do i on the opponents :(
I'm using hardening, improved aiming and gun laying drive on this one. Feels like you can hit a shot now and again. Pirosami making a visit in the end! Very nice!

Did you know that it has the best armour for doing the blocking missions? Its turret is absolutely impenetrable if you are hull down and the enemy can see nothing but your top! Not even Tier 10s with premium can go through!

Still a beast of a tank, just requires (a very, very little) bit of thought to play it these days in regards to positioning and map routes.

It seems like yesterday everyone was in an uproar saying this tank was so OP, just complete broken like the BZ 176 is now 🤣
I have the Obj.252U for a few years now and I have to say it was one of the most disappointing tanks I ever got. The tanks that it faces unless two tiers down, have no problem penning it, when of course when this was new it was advertised by WG and certain big youtubers as "unfair", "godlike", etc, clearly to push people to buy it.
Not the first or the last time it happened, but still annoying.
I have better armor (in actual battles) and gun handling results with my Alpine Tiger and that is not a joke. I have 53.15% WR with my Alpine Tiger and 44.83% with my Defender. Not only that, but I have over 500 battles with the AT and just 29 battles with the Defender exactly because of how poop I find it in real terms and can't stand playing with it.
As for the gun, poop, but that for me is not alone on itself to ruin this tank. It's the whole package.

I like this stock grind and gun use idea. Very cool plan Skeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel. Also this community vote idea is very interesting. I can't wait to see it implemented.
I wouldn't mind test driving this tank after crew skill changes.
A year ago I would have jumped at the chance to buy this tank, but nowadays with all the autoloaders, and some with better pen now. The Defender is nothing special nowadays really. I just bought the tier 9 STK other day, so have no need for a T8 premium like the Defender and will pass on getting it

@kunstderfugue Honestly tho, the 252u is a good counter to the bz (the bz can only pen it in the cupola). But overall the bz is a stronger tank

This tank now only works against lower tiers and even then you only penetrate if its made out of cheese.

a couple of months ago there was a game mode with more accurate stats like gun handling and so that game mode was swarming with defenders ,i understand that i have a defender to so thats the only time to play that awful gun tank...

The last time I played this I missed 4-5 midrange shots in a row against a low health panther 2, he ended up killing me with cupola shots. Not my kind of fun

imagine if this tank arrives in bond shop with 12k price
i was scaret to buy this tank because i heard that gun hundling is bad. I was surprised in pozitive way when i had battle on prochorovka sniping from midle 400+ meters end up with 5500 dmg with bilance 17/15/13. Another battle against tier IX italian TD 2/3 into cupola.
RNG without random, premium ammo as a credit drain and a matchmaker for pay to win tanks.
I still have not received any experimental equipment inside the game.... Anyone any ideas why?

The hull is made of paper when they press 2 key. Turret weakspot on top is terrible. Gun handling terrible. This tanks not nearly as OP as people made it seem.

252U is not Defender. Defender is based on the 252U but have worse armor and unique 3D camo
252U and Defender have the same exact armor profile, same gun, same reload, same stats, there's nothing different between the two other than the 3D skin

Defender or Object 252U. Against lower tier, it is king but against equal or higher tier, I just go full APCR as AP is too RNG dependant.
