Ok, I did everything they said do, even put plastic and towels down to prevent flooding. Water drained in bucket after bucket to the last drop after opening up relief valve and sometimes turning on the nearest hot water faucet. Since the cold input connection is at the bottom of the manufactured home type water heater, as soon as I took off the connection, water kept pouring out and tank sounded like it was drinking from a jug and kept spitting water out the wrong opening!!! Towels were soaked, floor soaked!! I reconnected hose to the spout and opened relief valve, still not another drop of water came from the official spout opening!( that is after dumping at least 6 five gallon sized buckets??? Main water and water valves at the tank are both off. It is so frustrating now!!! It keeps draining throught the water intake opening!!!!!! Help, anyone else experience this????!!!!😳😳😳😏😏
I’m installing a new tankless and this definitely helps with removing the old tank. I truly appreciate the information
I LIKE YOUR SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS!!!! I will be watching when I replace my electric water heater!!!😂😁👌
NICE!! I like how you quickly caught and spoke about that false reading on the voltage checker.

What size pipe cutter? My copper pipe is about 3" round but I can't find a tool like you used for that size.
👍🏻
If the electricity was off, why did the electric meter light up when you tapped it to the line?

Did you fix the problem?
Probably wrong piping instalation, maybe the pipe is also used as water line. Did you get the issue solved?
