So I've got a tablet here, model GT-P5210, and I've gotten the correct firmware for it (or so I think). I got it from SamMobile, and it is for this device and it is the correct region (assuming Cellular South is Samsung's way of saying "it's for the US").
Every time I flash it with the firmware using Odin, it boots to the screen with the Android logo and the loading bar at the bottom and then shuts off. When it boots back up, it boots (once again) to the Android logo and then to a dead Android with a red triangle above it, and then it just reboots a second later.
After a lot of time, I've determined that the stock recovery rom on this thing is somehow damaged (or the firmware I'm using is incompatible).
Nothing I do will allow me to enter stock recovery mode to get it out of this boot loop. Any suggestions?

hey, can you say, which differences between the 7 and the 8 in-device you know. did you think this can be done the same way with the 8in sm-t315?
Hi I can see that the tablet you are working with in the video is an SM-T210R. I own a bricked SM-T210, can I still follow the same process as you and use the same kieshome, or would I need to install a different one for the SM-T210 model?

Do I have to root my tab to go back to stock OS? Tab updated last week to 4.4.2 and I hate if and am having problems now. I just want to go back to how it was before update. I have a SM-T217S and I know I need the files for my device. Just need to know if I have to root in order to go back to stock. I'm brand new to android. Nervous because I've bricked a few iPhones. Any help would be great!

when i begin to use the odin program, and transfer the files, the message box says setupconnection.. and it doesn't go past that, and suggestions?
just revive my tab back... :) thank you so much, after flashing for the second time... what did i do: boot up to recovery mode then factory reset the phone... wipe cache and rebooted it... after restarting, it didn't stay that far on glowing samsung logo... everything did go well... thank you so much...
Is there a Difference between SM-210 and SM-210R, Firmware-vice i mean? I have the SM-210 and would like to know if the Firmware link below will work for my Tab 3 7 inch?
Does it matter if you use either XAC or XAR build number? I read 'round, and it said that the XAC is the Canadian build, and the XAR is the US build.

I had CM11 installed and when i went to flash back to stock as per your instructions it reboots back into CM11 even though Odin passed. I tried wiping the device in TeamWin Recovery and it says it wiped successfully but again it boots back into CM11. Any suggestions?
Does it matter if you have a SM-T110? Can you still put the same firmware on it?
Hey i recently rooted my samsung galaxy tab 3 SM-T210R and when ever i try to turn it on it boots into CWM based rcovery mode i installed a supersu update because mine didnt have a binary and then i installed a newer update of it from google play store and then it said that it would put it into recovery mode and it did and now it wont get out of it please help. i have CWM v6.0.4.5 and i installed a root signed thing and i dont know how to stop it from booting into this mode

I messed up when trying to root my samsung galaxy tab 3 (10.1), and am in a boot loop, i dont know which firmware to download, so i can odin it back. i googled the number KOT49H.P55210XXUBNK2 , but i cant find any firmware for it

I noticed one difference in the message from mine to yours.
Yours says: system.img
Mine says: system.img.ext
Is that my issue, and if so, can I fix it? Right now, i'm stuck.

im trying to flash my tab3 sm-t211 wifi (3g) to stock rom but i dont know what rhe american region firmware is and im talking about the md5 file it looks like this T211XXXAML! if you know what the america file is please help me
i accidentally lost all of my files when i restored my galaxy tab 3 , is there anyway at all that i get these items back using s restore folder software ,, i am really having no luck what so ever

I bricked my SM-210R and cant seem to get it to work at all anymore. I can boot up the CMW recovery, but when I try to install any zips and reboot to see if it works it gives me a bootloop. I tried many different .zip files but nothing seems to work, after fiddling with it for a while I notice a message that says no operating system. I been working on locating a OS that will be installed but nothing seems to have worked so far. This all started when I tried to root my tablet.

this isn't my first time rooting/installing Roms/unbricking devices. but this is the first time I encounter a kernel upload panic msg. Please tell me what in doing wrong or how to fix this pls
it keep saying no os installed when i turn off the device on twrp and when i turn it off it keeps booting on the twrp recovery i tried it many times but it keeps booting

Hey ive folllowed the steps and it didnt work. My current binary says samsung offical bt the system status still says custom. It goes throught the bootloop bt when i hit the language section i get messages saying unfortunately google stop working and so on...... CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME!

thanks for the elborate video. A friend gave me his t210 that would not boot, only downoad mode would start. So I tried, but at the radio.img it failed and no other threads were fired up. Now I cannot get anything started on the t210. Any tips on what to try ?
Are firmwares region specific? I downloaded 3 different firmwares are none of them work! I'm gonna pull my hair out ughh. I thought maybe there was so I downloaded two different Odin programs and neither recognizes the firmwares. It just ticks the "AP" or "PDA" but doesn't verify the firmware or anything. And yes I downloaded the one for my tab's model.
This really works. Bricked my Samsung Tab 3 (sm-t217s). Found the firmware, used Odin and unbricked the device. Thanks RootJunky, you rock.

Definitely subscribing! You managed to unbrick my device after I attempted a SU Update that cause a black screen right after showing initial bios boot screen.

Mine When i hit the home button plus volum down button plus power button it is show up then i press volum up button and it start downloading but when i plug in the usb cabbles its just send nothing in my computer help?

I don't know what I'm doing wrong , but everything goes well right up until the restart , the point when the Samsung logo is pulsing (9.32) , it hangs there, the 'android is upgrading' screen does not appear. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

I have a new tab 3 but its not letting me click keyboard when its in voice search. I cant type at all i can only talk on it, like if i click my wifi the voice automatically pops out and i need the keyboard to type the password for capital letters. Any way to fix it?

Hey RootJunky - first, thank you a bunch! I tried to install Sweet Dreams v3.1 after I rooted and it made my tab too glitchy to use. I wiped system and used Odin to reinstall firmware, and everything works just like your video, but after it finished downloading, the screen went black and it shut down. When I go to turn back on, it just gives me a sound effect and a completel black screen. Not sure what to do. I booted back into Downloading Mode and I see the product name, Samsung Official Bindary, and a System Status of Custom. Not sure where to go from here.

is the link to the samsung drivers out of date ? I tried to install them and they are not working , It keeps telling me that the publisher is blocked on my PC.. But there is no publishers blocked on my list when i check it.. Any ideas how to fix this ?i really want to get my tablet working again ..

Why is it that it keeps saying its upgrading android apps and turns off and comes back on and keeps doing it? it showed the original wallpaper for one second but will not properly install.
