Spam and inappropriate content is a big problem on Facebook. This is a reason why many Facebook Groups have switched to private and some require admin approval to post. This helps reduce spam and inappropriate content.

Spam and inappropriate content is the entire business model of Facebook. That and deliberately engineering people to fight other people for sexy, hot clicky content that gets eyeballs. Facebook is one dumpster urinal like a Marcel Duchamp sculpture.

It's a huge issue right now on Facebook and it still shocks me that it's happening considering Facebook it the largest company in the sector. After all this time this issue has been around I would have thought Facebook (or Meta) would sort it. Whys it's all turned on by Default is stupid. Really don't like using Facebook anymore.
I will have a look at my page again as looks like there is some settings that might be page only here.
Side note- that allow other to share reels is actually allow them to share your reels to their profile, aka if you upload a reel (like a short) they can post it to there own profile no the other way around ;)

Facebook began as a frat boy rumpy pump. In 2024 Facebook wants to send you frat boy pictures of high octane rumpy pump. If your IQ is below 3 you say yeah cool! If your IQ is above 3 you run for the hills.

Yes mate my sentiment as well and frankly any of the available social media shite is so toxic now and the younger age groups are the target of all sorts of hate and unsavoury material.

My Facebook feed is always full of "suggested for you" posts, most of which are just totally irrelevant. You can mute them for 30 days but no way to say "not interested" or similar. Is there a setting to reduced those things?

there needs to be a law suite brought against facebook and ofther big company's by all governments of the world for GDPR privacy and if they don't comply with government privacy policy's then the CEO should be jailed.
