Me too. I cant help but cry. How can they blame her? When in the 1st place, the mngt wont even allow her to participate in some shows, telling her she wont fit, she is not popular or they will not like her. How hurtful can that be? Although Xin told Alicia that she didn’t think that the group was dissolved because of her style but I believe that back in the past when receiving those opinions, she must have doubted herself quite a lot. Yup, even in the previous seasons, they invite these guests (I remember for Idol Producer they invited Jolin Tsai) to give the trainees advice and help relieve some stress. I'm so glad they did this because the girls needed this.

It wasn't the media (the group wasn't that popular so it's not like there was a large media following for them), it was some of the fans on Chinese threads. I think a few of the members got blamed to an extent, I heard Snow got blamed by some fans, the leader was blamed as well, and Xin was the center so she naturally got a lot of the flak too. It's not Xin's or any of the members fault though, I would say they flopped due to poor management and styling rather than any of the members.

Chinese idols was not attractive to me in the past because I always thought that their dance and singing abilities were not as good as Koop stars. One day I watched Xin Liu’s stage by chance,she totally changed my mind!!She can dance,rap and sing so well...like a full package. I still think you are generally right, the idols that come out of Korea tend to be more polished and skilled than the average idol that comes out of a Chinese company. China is such a big country though that there are definitely a few exceptional talents - Xin is one of the most talented female idols to come out of China in a while! Yeah, the thing is, korea creates and does strict management of groups, they’re like the model. China on the other hand, groups aren’t really much successful bc not many Chinese like groups, they prefer soloists as u can see, they don’t do those shows dedicated for all groups like mama, or those group award events. China only does New Years, showcases, and the fact that some companies don’t promote or manage well, But they’re now opening up to ideas of groups.

Xin left her home at the young age of 12 to Beijing to achieve her dream and that mean she got more free will to do whatever she wants to pursue her dreams and finding her true self and style is the most important thing for her without her parents nagging her. Her mother even got surprised and "scolded" poor Xin that after Beijing her appearance has changed drastically as a "boy". Xin said that she doesn´t see herself as a tomboy, she is what she is, herself, LIU YUXIN. This is one of the biggest challenge in her life that have shaped Xin to who she is now, she have had identity crisis (and she might still have it as for the case that she still do not understand why people can´t accept she being true to herself) and that she have felt that she let her mother down that time. It shows in her personality that she is reserved, introvert and she said that she doesn´t want to hang out with people a lot with that reason that people always have something negative to say about her appearance. Receiving negative comments from stereotypical and homophobic people about her style and hair is the worst thing than avoiding guys pulling her hair when she was little, seriously speaking, she is still struggling with people accepting her appearance and you can see that on this show when she asked about advice from Kun and Alicia exactly about this matter. Xin even suggested about wearing a wig for the song "I´m Not Yours" with Lisa to challenge her appearance to see if it will affect her rank and public votes, Xin testing her limits is very admirable. I really hope that she will find and accept herself before others but I know she feels pressured because she wants to become successful as an artist and performer as well as being loved by the public. I would really like to give this advice as well *You need to first learn how to accept and love being yourself before others and that is when people can start liking your true values and colors* and I really think that Xin have achieved it seeing her on this show and how many international fans she have gained has been very successful, I really hope she will keep this pace and be true to herself. I feel bad for Xin Liu, she went through a lot. Imagine the whole media blaming her for the disbandment of their group just because of her looks, the way she dressed, and her style? Imagine how depressed she is in that situation. But I'm really thankful that she came to this show she expressed her self really well and had more chances to shine she even became the center of their theme song despite her style. It wasn't the media (the group wasn't that popular so it's not like there was a large media following for them), it was some of the fans on Chinese threads. I think a few of the members got blamed to an extent, I heard Snow got blamed by some fans, the leader was blamed as well, and Xin was the center so she naturally got a lot of the flak too. It's not Xin's or any of the members fault though, I would say they flopped due to poor management and styling rather than any of the members.

I still think you are generally right, the idols that come out of Korea tend to be more polished and skilled than the average idol that comes out of a Chinese company. China is such a big country though that there are definitely a few exceptional talents - Xin is one of the most talented female idols to come out of China in a while! Yeah, the thing is, korea creates and does strict management of groups, they’re like the model. China on the other hand, groups aren’t really much successful bc not many Chinese like groups, they prefer soloists as u can see, they don’t do those shows dedicated for all groups like mama, or those group award events. China only does New Years, showcases, and the fact that some companies don’t promote or manage well, But they’re now opening up to ideas of groups.

I cried so hard when people said that she's the reason why the group disbanded. I mean, what's wrong with having your own style?? Okay, I admit that she has a short hair, like to wear pants, but it doesn't mean that she didn't fit the girlgroup concept. Who says that girls can't be cool? Xin left her home at the young age of 12 to Beijing to achieve her dream and that mean she got more free will to do whatever she wants to pursue her dreams and finding her true self and style is the most important thing for her without her parents nagging her. Her mother even got surprised and "scolded" poor Xin that after Beijing her appearance has changed drastically as a "boy". Xin said that she doesn´t see herself as a tomboy, she is what she is, herself, LIU YUXIN. This is one of the biggest challenge in her life that have shaped Xin to who she is now, she have had identity crisis (and she might still have it as for the case that she still do not understand why people can´t accept she being true to herself) and that she have felt that she let her mother down that time. It shows in her personality that she is reserved, introvert and she said that she doesn´t want to hang out with people a lot with that reason that people always have something negative to say about her appearance. Receiving negative comments from stereotypical and homophobic people about her style and hair is the worst thing than avoiding guys pulling her hair when she was little, seriously speaking, she is still struggling with people accepting her appearance and you can see that on this show when she asked about advice from Kun and Alicia exactly about this matter. Xin even suggested about wearing a wig for the song "I´m Not Yours" with Lisa to challenge her appearance to see if it will affect her rank and public votes, Xin testing her limits is very admirable. I really hope that she will find and accept herself before others but I know she feels pressured because she wants to become successful as an artist and performer as well as being loved by the public. I would really like to give this advice as well *You need to first learn how to accept and love being yourself before others and that is when people can start liking your true values and colors* and I really think that Xin have achieved it seeing her on this show and how many international fans she have gained has been very successful, I really hope she will keep this pace and be true to herself.
