I’ve been a Shaq fan forever. He strikes me as genuine and always has. “What would you do” by NBC did tests of the public like this. Reality is cold and people are cold. Shaq is a genuine guy.
THAT IS TRUELY SAD that someone has to go undercover and do like SHAQ DID just to get authorities to do their jobs BY THE BOOK.I WAS HOMELESS for sbout a year.i ha nice run ins with police and they were nice in the way i was treated.
This video was incredibly eye-opening and thought-provoking. I have so much respect for Shaquille O’Neal for using his platform and influence to actually experience what it’s like for marginalized communities. It's one thing to talk about issues, but it’s a completely different thing to put yourself in that position, as he did. The transformation was so effective. It’s almost shocking to see him completely blend into the background. This experiment made it clear how quickly people make judgments based solely on appearance. The contrast between the way people treated him before and after he revealed his identity was really stark and honestly, depressing. The interactions with the police officers were particularly telling. Officer Davis’s approach was so aggressive and demeaning, and it was clear that he had preconceived notions about homeless individuals. You could feel the tension building, especially when he kept pushing and trying to find a reason to escalate the situation. Officer Lopez, on the other hand, showed a level of empathy and caution that was really refreshing. It was clear she was torn between upholding the law and treating the individual with respect. I appreciated that she tried to intervene and offer help. The fact that there were no warrants, no laws being broken and Davis still tried to force him to move on highlights how people with power can abuse their authority. The way Shaq handled himself during the experiment was admirable. He never became confrontational, even when he was clearly being treated unfairly. His decision to let the situation play out to a certain point and not push it too far really made the point he was trying to make even more powerful. The social media reveal was just brilliant. It was so smart to use that footage to expose the contrast between the officers' approaches and to start a public conversation. The fact that the story got picked up by the local news and sparked debates is a testament to the video's impact. I loved that Shaq didn't just stop at exposing the problem, but also used his resources to make a real difference by donating to homeless outreach programs. And sending a letter of praise to Officer Lopez was a classy touch. The ending, with officer Davis potentially having a change of perspective, is encouraging. Overall, this was a powerful and necessary social experiment. It made me think about my own biases and how easy it is to dehumanize people based on their circumstances.
We can all learn from this. I see homeless people almost every day and I admit I have spoken harshly on a couple of occasions. Sometimes I buy a meal for a homeless person and regularly give to charity which feeds hungry people.
Did this really happen? I AM Homeless a Veteran on disability even looking for organizations to help in the HOLE of Oklahoma. Everything is 130 miles away. Even a " Christian organizarions said to me " we cant help you cause you have a disability". I thought FEDERAL LAW WAS CLEAR ON THIS? I am getting cold. I need help!

I signed up to die for America cause I love my nation so much. Please don't make light of being homeless or a vet. Cause I've lived the truth. If would have done my job. You would have never been born I'm homeless today because my disability is only 1500 dollars a month I sleep in my car Every nite. Please understand. I'm glad you are well off. I'm not So please just be careful There are men men like me who would have died so you could play basketball

The mish-mash of unrelated images are irritating, such as foreign cops, really ?

It's truly a great story though!

Maybe you should stop letting this guy speak because he's boring and there's not saying anything that matters.

Would have been watchable if there was no narration and just live video
Somebody’s videos are good but why they have to make them 15 minutes long when they could be 15 seconds long it’s all Clickbait
