The last time I did a full set was Dec 31, 2021. Over the past few months, I've done my fills and watched my own nails grow out. I will say for initial application of the full covers, I prefer the Mega Stick in the pot with the brush. My application is better, very little sidewall spillage and I find the gel to be a little less runny. I love all the products and so thankful we can get them!
I am LOVING these Gelips! I was building out my nails with forms and all of that, this is SO much easier and enjoyable to do it this way. I use the Mega Stick in a pot and apply it with a brush, I prefer it this way for me. I do have your full set of brushes as well. I love all of you products, they are the best out there and I tried other professional gels but they do not hold up like Kokoist.
If you could please add more size numbers please. These are way too big for me and i'm an average Asian size and I fit most of the Korean jelly tips brands however with Gelip only 10 sizes is bit few, and not to mention it's only 300 pcs. Shaving the sides off takes time. :(
besides using 90% alcohol to “prep” the nails, do you ever file before applying kokoist base? like most gel x, you etch your nail for adhesion. is that necessary for kokoist?
You do your cuticle work and take the shine off the natural nail but and dehydrate your nail (clean with alcohol removing dust and oil from natural nail) and these tips are pre etched and no need for primer that’s why people love this system less steps plus their thinner that’s why you can roll em and make them more curved and so they find get as bulky as gel x and potted gels to me go on smoother less bulk that’s why they say either use bond duo which if thicker with a thinner top coat or mega stick with the thicker stain resistant top coat for strength
It looks like after you apply the Mega Stick for the last time and after curing that it is wiped again with 90% alcohol before applying the pink dragon 🐉 color, is this true?
I know this is months late, but you can still use that size 0 even if it doesn’t fit side to side! The trick is to place the nail tip where it DOES fit side to side. Fill in the gap with builder gel, and ta da! it fits :)

After adding the mega stick to the tips to build apex is it okay if it is tacky ?
@@daniela-gg5xi yes, unless it’s a no-wipe gel, any gel will cure with a tacky layer!

I’ve been doing mega stick to apply the gelips and then bonding duo on top of them. Is that ok?
@@Mary-bd9vu gelip bond base may give you better retention than the mega stick, but hey, if it’s working for you, it’s working! 😜
What color polish is Koko wearing ?
